A: It doesn't amplify your voice, you just sing along with it

A: As far as I can tell, just one pre-recorded. I haven't opened it yet. It seems very confusing.

My daughter received this as a gift. Less than a month later (and not even playing with it every day), the batteries are dead. Whatever. It happens. They always put cheap batteries in. But the screw that holds in the battery door just spins. It doesn’t loosen up to change the batteries, and I can’t pry the door open, so now it is worthless. It also isn’t really a microphone. Your kid won’t hear their voice amplified at all. It’s basically a light up wand that plays a song. Oh, and when it did work, it was so obnoxiously loud that I had to put tape over the speaker, since there is no volume control. Elsa’s high pitched notes were piercing through the speaker.

Super cute microphone! The only “issue” (not really an issue but more of something to be aware of) is that I received a different microphone than the one pictured. Based on reviews, it seems there are a few different variations of the microphone, and you just don’t know which one you’re gonna get haha. This one plays “let it go” and “in summer.” I’m actually happy about it because my little one loves “let it go”…I just figured that based on the item description/picture we would be getting one with “into the unknown”. So in my case it doesn’t matter and it worked out for the best, but maybe something that others might want to note! Excited to give this for Christmas.

This microphone is perfect for my 3.5 year old daughter. She loves the music part it plays (true it doesn’t play the whole song but I’m okay with that). Once you take it off of demo mode, it works like a microphone too (think toy microphone like the ones in the 1990s that was attached to a box with a chord- except my daughter doesn’t have to carry around an attached box). Very fun for my daughter.

You have to hold the top button for 5 seconds to get it out of test mode. It will then turn into a microphone and the bottom button will play the entire song. My almost 3 year old loves it!

You have to press and hold the top button for five seconds to get it out of test mode. It actually does sing an entire song and my kid loves it. It is driving me insane and we haven’t left the store yet.
