My 14 months old introduction to a microphone
From what I've seen, my 14 month old loves speaking into the Ms. Rachel microphone! He mimics words which to me sounds like giberish, but he has fun. He doesn't care too much for the pre recorded music and makes up his own. He usually presses it close to his mouth to speak into. There are two buttons to cycle between freestyle microphone or music to sing along to. In order to start or stop the music you have to push the buttons once or twice. There is no volume control or on/off switch. I purchased a second microphone because the first one quit working due to my child throwing it around the house, it is plastic and not unbreakable. I don't expect too much for the price.

Stopped working after a week
Stopped working after a few days. You also have to hold the button down to get the mic to amplify your voice. My 1 year old can’t grasp that concept. You also have to practically put it in your mouth to get it to work with your voice.

Stopped working in less than 2 months
Got this for my 1 year old daughter for Christmas and she loved it. It is very portable and my kids were singing with it all over the house. The issue is it’s now Feb 12 and it no longer works. We tried changing batteries, even tested the batteries but it only lights up and the music and mic no longer work. Very disappointed in the quality.
