A: It’s a lot of the same words that are in the 100 first words books. Lots of “baby’s firsts” like ball, toy, foods, body parts, types of clothes, various animals, and opposites.

Like others, machine reads cards wrong - flimsy quality. Out of the 50 cards, 18-20 can be read on both sides. Other cards read one side wrong, or don't even read one side. I am sad because my son loves Ms Rachel and I thought it would help with his speech. Find something else!

Cheaply made & said wrong things!
We were excited to get this but once we tried it out many of the cards read incorrectly- the kiss card said “toy” and the socks card said “shirt”…we didn’t even bother trying them all and will be returning. Not to mention the cards are a thin paper cardboard and bend and tear easily. Not good for toddlers who still put things in their mouth. Such a disappointment!

Perfect Playtime with toddler

Its simple, interactive, and perfect for little ones. Watching him light up with excitement every time he got a word right was priceless. The game kept him engaged, laughing, and thinking creatively. Learning through play everyday

Now she carries it everywhere, repeating every word she hears. Her big sister joins in too and even tried to film her own demo lol. Theres 100 words and I love that its play but also practice. Broke within a month
If i could rate zero stars I would. We purchased this toy on 9/3/25 in store and it is now 10/10/25 and this no longer works. The speaker doesn't work anymore even after replacing the batteries. I tried to take it back in store but you need the box to do so. I no longer have the box since this toy is designed for small kids and those small kids like to rip said boxes. I'm out twenty bucks that could've went to something better made. It's a shame because the concept is great and my daughter loved it, but we're disappointed that this is already broken.

A new take on boring flashcards!

The amount of cards given was ample! The only downside I would say is my little one did destroy a few cards pretty quickly!

Learning to read activity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great activity for learning to read with picture clues. Best for age 2+ when they stop putting the cards in their mouth. My 4 year old is great at using this and this is perfect timing as he is learning to read at school. I will be using this throughout kindergarten and probably into grade 1 to aid in his reading!

Fun and Interactive for Toddlers

She talks very fluently at this stage, but still really loves using the card reader to have Ms. Rachel say all of the words. This kept her playing independently for a lengthy amount of time. I only wish it would have existed when she was learning all of her words before - Im sure she would have benefited from an interactive toy such as this. I recommend this toy for any toddler that is just learning to speak or has limited words, however even older toddlers can enjoy playing with this card reader. It keeps them busy, entertained and is a screen free alternative to enjoy Ms. Rachel!

Perfect learning tool for the youngest

It is perfect to get young kids to learn new words in an educational way and avoiding the screen time which is not recommended at this age. Ms Rachels super easy and fun learning toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This learning tool is super easy and fun. My 20 month old is disabled, as well as developmental delays and he is not speaking yet. This toy immediately clicked with him. He figured out where the cards needed to go in and only needed a little help, he knew to push the button, and he instantly lit up with excitement when he heard Ms. Rachels voice. Within 10 minutes he was already trying to make the sounds to match the words! I truly believe this could help him say his first words soon. I love that its simple, not overstimulating, and it is compact enough to take anywhere. Id recommend this toy to parents, caregivers, daycares, speech therapists, and developmental services. Honestly its an amazing learning tool for any child building language skills!

Cards are flush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed playing with Ms. Rachels First Card Reader. It comes with so many cards and is super easy to use. The downside is that although its designed for ages 12+, the cards were very hard to insert and felt flimsy, which caused a lot of frustration.
