I'm not sore why target thought it was ok to ship this to me, it came in the box but had been opened and taped back in the box with scotch tape. The stick used to hit the keys was ripped half way off and the best part... after putting new batteries on to see if it works, it not surprisingly did not work. The keys light up but no sounds come from the toy. Target did refund my money but come one now, why would you ship this??? I'm doing the rest of my shopping In store. So dissapointing.

I bought this as a gift for a birthday party and ended up buying one for my son too because he loved it so much. It’s interactive and helps him follow directions and learn colors. The only negative I have is the string is a little short. It makes it kind of difficult to use, but I understand why it’s that length for safety reasons.

Great music toy for a child. My grandson loved it.
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves music. So, this was a perfect gift. He can use the handle to make music on the xylophone, but he can also press buttons and it will sing songs to him. An upgrade from the one my youngest son used to have. He really enjoyed playing with it.

A little disappointed
This xylophone puppy is super cute and plays a nice melody. The tones of the keys are pleasant and the teaching will catch on a as my grandchild gets older. My rating is low because as a learning toy, the fact that it shuts off completely when not used for a moment or two. That's good to save battery but not good that you have to move the switch on for it to restart. My grandson looses interest to pound the keys when they don't do anything after he played with it ten minutes previous.

Cute toy
Very cute learning toy for baby/child. Music is very cheerful. Although I am not sure a baby could figure out and remember musial notes. But maybe they are smarter than I think. All the same....adorable.

She loved it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved it. She is very into music so the fact that she could walk the dog around the house and then stop and play some music on him. She absolutely loved it. It’s very durable the sound is not muffled it’s very coherent. If you want your child to learn about music through this toy, it is very useful.

Fun toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddo enjoys playing with this musical dog! She loves dogs so she was very happy to see this toy. The string is short so it won't hurt kids. It has an auto turn off if it hasn't been played with for awhile which is nice for parents not to have to listen to the toy all day!

Fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy has been super fun and engaging for my toddler to explore musical play. I love that it has 3 different modes to play in so there is a lot of variation and it can keep her entertained for a long time in various ways. She can free play and press the buttons to make or own music, follow scales, or follow along to pre-programmed songs. This has helped her build imagination, follow patterns, and work on memory skills. It is also a super cute toy and she loves that you can also walk the dog with the attached string. Overall, we are very happy with this toy as it is not only fun and entertaining but educational and helpful for learning skills and furthering her development.

Cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a toy my toddler was interested in but they were limited with how they can play with it. The string is short and the playing stick part is long, so it’s kinda awkward trying to hit certain buttons. I like that it has a mode to follow along to play a song. I like the keys light up and are labeled with the notes they play.

Toddler loves it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, my 2 year old loves this toy. The dogs feet kind of peddle around when you pull or push it on the ground. The stick is attached to the dogs collar, the collar can swivel around the neck but the string is a little short. I don’t love how it’s more oriented to a left handed child when most are right handed. There’s one “free play” option and two options that have the child follow the kit of keys to play. The keys are buttons that need to be pressed down to play. Overall, very cute and fun.

Great game for baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1year old loves to use the stick to hit the keys. This toy also has good musical games. The only downside is the toy is inactive after seconds of it not being used and you have to turn off and back on again.

Great toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Zoo Jamz Doggy Xylophone is not only a great toy, but it is also educational. It has 3 different play modes, teaching songs, patterns and music notes. It helps not only teach music, but also memory, how to be more creative and helps children learn fine motor skills. With 10 song along songs and 8 light up bars, it somewhat ensures a child to have their attention held. Children can use the blue mallet to freestyle, hitting all the different keys they want but also, the light up bars and sing along songs. He comes with a somewhat short leash so he can be taken on walks while his head and legs move as it’s walked. Parents will enjoy being able to turn the volume down so it can be a quieter play time. It’s made with durability in mind and of course toddlers can be rough on toys. It requires 2 AA batteries and comes with an automatic shut off so those batteries don’t go to waste. I’d recommend this little Doggy Xylophone to someone who enjoys having a toy there children can use to learn of just play with.
