The Musical Diego Dino toddler musical developmental wooden toy is chock-full of sensory fun and noise-making activities. Musical and other activities include 5-key metal xylophone, 2 spinning gears, 2 tracks with ladybug knobs, a detachable maraca tail, noise-making ridges on neck and back, and 4 double-sided rotating panels with numbers and objects. The dino comes with a wood mallet for playing the xylophone and scraping against the ridges along the top, back, and tail. Store the mallet atop the dino's head when playtime is over. This artfully designed musical activity center doubles as nursery room decor when little one's concert is over. Musical play encourages cause-and-effect learning while building motor skills and sensory development. Standing play is only recommended for children able to stand unassisted. Diego dino! The cutest dino toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Manhattan toys for Diego dino! This is the cutest musical toy I've seen. My son loves Diego. You can play the xylophone, the dino tail is maraca that easily comes off so you can shake. There's 4 blocks, number and picture behind Diego, there's spinning gears on the side. I really like Manhattan toys because they offer a variety of toys for kids, their toys are well made strong and durable.

Absolutely love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing to dislike about this toy, and EVERYTHING to love. Both my 11 month old infant and 4 year old toddler absolutely love it. The toy definitely promotes sensory development, fine motor skills, coordination - all while teaching basic music fundamentals and having FUN. If you are a parent that is into Montessori teaching, then this is the toy to get. This toy definitely promotes Montessori teachings, which states every child has the ability to learn music from an early age. The stick on the top comes off to play the xylophone keys, and the tail comes off to become a separate rattle toy (and a great 'take on the road' toy). Creating music, improving auditory skills, exploring sounds - are all amazing aspects of this toy. A toy needs to be visually appealing to grab a child's attention, and this toy DOES EXACTLY that. The design, the colors, and the overall size of the toy - CREATES THE VISUAL STIMULATION that will make it stand out from other toys. The price point is a bit high, but I would say that this toy can last you couple of years if not more. My 4 year old is just as interested in playing with this as my 11 month old.
