This is the cutest little truck for my toddler grandson. It definitely helps with eye-hand coordination, beginning stages of color recognition development, loading and unloading(in/out) discovery. I will be buying more of these for our child care centers.

I absolutely love this toy. We got it for my sons 1st birthday and he loves it! If your child can’t sit up on their own then you are getting toys too advanced for your baby. This toy help with hand eye coordination! Allows the child to use their growing brains to figure out how to work this toy. Not hard but for our babies learning new things it takes a moment for them to push the lever to lift the bed of the truck!

Dangerous for a 6 month old!

Highly recommend - 8 months ago
Someone bought this truck for my son when he was 6 months old, and while the toy itself is fine it’s NOT safe for babies under the age of 1 and I’m not sure why it’s marketed as such. On two separate occasions my son rolled over onto the truck and somehow got his head wedged between the cabin and the bucket while the bucket was extended. I should have tossed it after it happened the first time, but I honestly thought it was a freak accident. Luckily my baby didn’t get injured but it was very scary for him and I.

Bad design of truck bed

1 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Consumerista - 8 months ago, Verified purchaser
Someone thought it would be 'cute' to have simulated rocks in the molding of the dump bed. This keeps the third 'rock' from being able to go into the bed. It stops short of entering the bed and when the dump handle is activated it may or may not, depending on the angle of the toy, just roll away from where the dump bed space is now emptyl. Very poor design.

A Joy-Packed Adventure for Little Ones

5 out of 5 stars

tnoonz - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
The VTech Drop and Go Dump Truck has effortlessly transformed playtime into a captivating learning journey for my son. From the moment we introduced it to him, his eyes lit up with excitement, and his imagination took flight on the wings of this charming toy. One of the standout features of this dump truck is its interactive design that effortlessly combines play with essential learning. The bright, vibrant colors instantly grab a child's attention, while the friendly face on the front of the truck welcomes them into a world of exploration. The interactive buttons, sounds, and music add an extra layer of engagement, fostering curiosity and enhancing fine motor skills. My son's favorite part of the playtime adventure is filling up the dump truck with the colorful, chunky rocks that come with it. The process of dropping them into the truck's bed, watching them tumble down, and then pushing the truck along to unload them is not only immensely entertaining but also subtly educational. It teaches basic cause-and-effect relationships, hand-eye coordination, and the joy of accomplishment.

I wish I read the bad reviews prior to purchasing this toy. When my baby boy played with this toy his hand got stuck in the yellow opening where the balls go. I think this toy is more suitable for 2/3 years old's but still with parental supervision. I am not sure why this toy is listed as suitable for 6M +
