He enjoys pressing the buttons, changing the “channels,” and using the remote, which makes him feel like he’s using a real TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The VTech Smart TV had our little Nora mesmerized. It took her some time to realize that she could stay on one channel for a while and it would play music or talk to her. At first she just wanted to click buttons and turn dials. These actions had her occupied till the constant whirring of the channels overwhelmed/overstimulated her. However, now that she's figured out that there's a purpose to changing the channels and she can interact with it a bit more, she will dance to the music it plays and listen to it. I gotta say, I also love all the modern packaging that doesn't require a knife to open and that it came ready to work, no additional batteries needed. It's these small things that make all the difference.

Right out of the box, the packaging was simple and sturdy — nothing overcomplicated, and everything was easy to access without fighting a hundred twist ties. Setting it up was basically plug-and-play. Just pop in fresh batteries and you’re good to go. The TV itself has a retro design that actually looks cool, and the buttons are kid-friendly — chunky enough for tiny hands but still responsive. The light-up features caught their attention instantly, especially with the music and channel changes. The included remote is adorable and actually works well. It responds quickly, and the toddlers loved the feeling of “changing the channel” like grown-ups. You can also switch channels directly on the TV, adjust volume with the dial, and jump through songs and sounds. No lag, no sticking buttons — everything worked smooth. One thing I really appreciated was how the toy shifts automatically to sleep mode. It saves battery and avoids the toy randomly blasting music at 2AM — every parent knows that horror story. The bilingual channels were also a big win. The English/Spanish options are perfect if you’re raising little ones in a bilingual household or just want early exposure. Learning-wise, it covers the basics: animals, numbers, shapes, weather, colors, and even some pretend “sports” and “news” channels that made Dhylan laugh. Ethan mostly mashed buttons and danced to the music, but hey — that counts too. Troubleshooting was easy. If something stops responding, it’s usually low demo batteries or sleep mode. Fresh batteries fixed everything instantly. Perceived value? Honestly strong. What a cool way to learn Spanish, English phrases, cooking , cleaning up, ABCs, sports and so much more. It is a smart tv where they can change the channel to watch different pictures and learn. There is singing and so much more. It keeps him engaged with led lights, music and so much excitement. I love playing with it myself. Get this for your kids today. It can be used for toddlers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this. My 1 year old loves it! Surprisingly so does my 5 year old. It has a knob to adjust volume and a slot on the back of the "tv" for the remote when not in use. Its so cute and such a practical toy for babies.

I love how the control flips the screen on the little toy TV. I think she will be entertained by this and really enjoy it. It’s not too big, which is great. It is noisy, but there is a volume control so you can lower the volume.

I like that the volume is adjustable (not super common in kid’s toys!). It was super easy to use to hit the buttons both on the tv and the remote, but the buttons aren’t super intuitive so even I wasn’t sure what to expect when we were playing with it!
