Fun and entertaining, my son loves to lay and watch it talk. And it’s soft enough to snuggle when he gets old enough to do so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned the previous version of the laugh and learn puppy and now the newest version. The puppy has been a favorite with all my young children. I appreciate that it is a soft toy and incorporates the interactive play. We choose this toy for travel in the car for both its comfort and entertainment. Easy for little ones to press the buttons and they enjoy the music and sounds. I will say, cleaning is easier with this version since all the electronic pieces are in the center. My little ones have dropped the toy (as little ones will) and the toy has endured. I also appreciate the colorway, as it can be for both boys and girls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 2-year-old really enjoys pushing the buttons and hearing the songs. I am pretty sure he learned the ABC song from this toy! It is just a little too big for him to play with in the car. There really isn't much interaction besides pushing the buttons and bobbing along to the songs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very durable and cute play and learn toy. My grandson who is 9 months old just loved playing with it. Has music, teaches colors and shapes. I really liked that it was mostly a plush toy with the only plastic being on his tummy; which is nice when they are younger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy Musical Plush is a fun and helpful learning toy. My 2 year old son loved the bright colors the puppy lights up, the clear speaking and numbers it says, and the 1, 2, 3 stages it can move through. It's phrases and words have become things my son loves to say. He enjoys counting with the puppy, and the puppy is plush and soft enough to sleep with. A great toy that could only be improved with more phrases and stages built in.

Great for beginning words and sounds. I'm excited that this is a toy that can be kept and loved as my child develops instead of having to be put away when she becomes a toddler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love the learning puppy! Not only are they learning about colors but they are learning body parts and how to name them all. I love how they can play together with it and they even pretend to be puppies togehter 😂

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the new Laugh & Learn Puppy to my 2 year old son. He immediately wanted it out of the packaging to play with and push all of the buttons! I think the heart, which changes colors, is a big draw for him, since it is the only light up button. He likes to lay his head on Puppy’s head, push the buttons, and watch the heart change colors. The new Laugh & Learn Puppy has a lot to offer babies and toddlers. Smart Stages (Explore, Encourage, Pretend) allow the songs and phrases to be geared toward a certain age. For example, for Stage 1 Explore (6mo+), the green number button names numbers, such as “1.” For Stage 2 Encourage (12mo+), the green button gives an example of the numbers, such as “I have 1 nose.” For Stage 3 Pretend (18mo+), the green button says various phrases or songs. Overall the content is great, but I’m a little disappointed that the Stage 3 songs/phrases aren’t geared more toward each specific button, such as songs about numbers for the green number button. All of the buttons on this new puppy are on its tummy. This is a major improvement. My oldest son had a previous version of this puppy from 2014 with buttons on its ear, hands, and feet. Unfortunately after years of use, 2 of the buttons stopped working due to the wires detaching inside the toy…not easy to fix. Having all of the buttons on the tummy easily solves this problem. Puppy does have 1 button that confuses me…a small blue button below the heart. The directions say to press and hold to light up the heart. Yes, this is true, but as soon as you let go, it turns off. To me, it doesn’t serve a purpose. It should stay on for 5 minutes or something, kinda like a nighttime light. Physically, this puppy is very cute. The large, round head is super soft and balances out the hard body. I like how this puppy is built to sit up, but also in a position to give hugs. I also like all of the bold colors. Each paw matches the closest button on the body. For example, the red alphabet foot matches the red ABC button. The whole puppy is color coordinated very well. The puppy also has multiple textures, which is great for little hands. The ears are fluffy and silky, the head is super soft, the nose and hands seem to be the same neutral texture, and the feet are silky. Even the buttons have a nice rubbery feel as opposed to a hard plastic feel. However, the blue body is…blah. It should be super soft like the head. Maybe it is supposed to represent clothes? But ultimately it feels like a cleaning cloth that my dry skin snags on. Thankfully my son doesn’t seem to care. A couple other things to note…the battery compartment on the backside has 2 different volume settings along with its “off” switch. Also, puppy is not washable due to the electronics inside. Overall, the newest puppy has an updated adorable appearance and better features. I am glad I have this new one to share with my 2 year old. He continues to play and snuggle with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great colors and songs. Classic songs like ABCs and If You're Happy and You Know It. Holds toddlers attention with the music and different lights. Aound ia loud enough for toddler to hear and shake his body too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great! My grandson just turned 1 and he’s really enjoying it. Sings, dances and hugs it! The dog is not heavy so it’s easy to carry around, the buttons are easy to push. I see a lot of fun with this toy as he grows!

He loves this puppy toy and I love it for him because he’s learning and singing along with it. The sounds and lights work great and it’s so soft and huggable.

The puppy has evolved over time. This one is nice because the buttons are easy for little fingers to grasp and push. The colors are great, and the tunes are engaging.

I personally loved the functionality of the older version with the paws being buttons but I too like this updated one as well. The lights on the center heart transition and change really well and the buttons are really soft and user friendly. This has been a hit since we opened it. We love the fun music and all the learning and take aways this cute puppy provides! This is definitely a win in our book!

It has lights and different two different volumes you can do. My baby loves to hear it sing and talk, and the different lights on it.

This Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy is the cutest addition to our collection of learning toys. It is the cudliest, most colorful and interactive plush we have. Baby Theo is mesmerized by the sweet voice prompts and giggles with joy when he sees it light up with all its pretty colors. Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy helps with baby's motor skills as he reacts to grab it when it speaks the alphabet. Buttons on chest are big enough for baby's soft tiny hands and allow for quick response to touch. We had a blast with Puppy and look forward to evolve with the advanced settings in the months to come. Thank you again Fisher-Price!
