Q: Do the wheels lock so child doesn’t go down face first?

submitted by Age - 5 years ago
  • A: The Sit-to-Stand Stroll & Discover Activity Walker™ is equipped with a speed control switch on the two back wheels of the walker. Position one is for babies who are just learning to take their first steps. This position has the most tension on the wheels and will not allow the walker to move too quickly. Position two is intended for the more skillful walker. This position has less tension on the wheels and will allow the walker to move more freely. When adjusting the speed control switch, please make sure both wheels are set to the same position

My 7 month old is learning to walk and the #1 speed yields the toy enough for her. She loves the activity board on the front as well.

Grear toy but too loud!

Overall I like this for my child since she is learning to pull herself up and stand but what I can’t stand is how loud it is. There are 2 volume settings but even at the lowest setting, I find it to be obnoxiously loud and overstimulating for my child and myself.

Doesnt work well on carpet

Biggest issue is it does not work well for my 10-month-old trying to walk it across carpet. The front wheel connector clearance is way too low, so he gets it jammed in the carpet and would flip over the top unless I help him push it down on the back end. But he does love all the toy parts and it works well for him to walk it mostly on his own on our hard floors, so if you don’t have much carpet it’s a good option.

Great for learning to take first steps

Great for learning skills to walk. The wheels don’t run smooth but it could be to avoid the speed for a learning baby walking skills

Good for my 1 yr old and 2 yr old grandchildren

My 1-year old grandson and my 2-year old granddaughter loved the toy from the start, they play with it differently. The 1-year old pushes it around on his knees and also on his feet, we have adjusted it to the slowest roll. The 2-year old likes to sit in front of the toy and play with all the buttons and things that can be moved. She has more dexterity so she can fully play with all features. The toy is good for multiple ages; the kids grow into it.
Grandchildren love it

Grandma gave grandson a walker

My grandson really liked this as he was beginning to walk. But after he got fully mobile with walking he didn’t use it much. My daughter in law thought it was hilarious that the grandmother gave the grandson a walker.
