Paint easily comes off

I love the idea of the maracas, but they put a thin coating of paint on top of them that VERY EASILY comes off. My daughter has scrapped it off with her little teeth and it has gotten in her mouth. Which is the reason they come plastic sealed on the parts covered in paint meaning they knew about this design flaw and kept it that way. I’m going to scrub off the paint to prevent it from happening again, but as a consumer knowing it’s a kid toy and that this is an issue I do not appreciate the lack of concern for consumption.

We use non-toxic paints in order to keep little ones safe. The maracas are shrink-wrapped to protect them from being damaged in transit, not because of the quality of the paint. Play the Maracas

My grandson has been going to a toddler class that has shakers so when I seen these Maracas , I knew that he would love them as soon as I gave them to him , he started playing with them right away will not put them down.
