runny and brown
the product is so runny, it spills everywhere when you take the cap off. I liked the peppermint smell, but the product was impossible to use without spilling and wasting half of the product.

This is no different than the usual brown liquid hand soap -- watery, goes everywhere, dyes everything in the shower brown. It provides no protection from razor blades -- you might as well use bar soap as this.

Works really well and smells amazing! Wish they still sold this in stores or a bigger bottle. Also a great alternative for women who have to shave their face that isn’t marketed to be overly manly.

The perfect shaving product.
I have suffered from prickly heat since childhood, so I have to be very careful what I use to shave my legs. This shaving soap has been an absolute miracle. It has just enough substance to provide a smooth shave, without all the unnecessary lather and poor-clogging additives you find in traditional shaving creams and gels. Washes away so cleanly, leaves skin feeling buttery smooth, and does not dry out the skin. The lavender version is wonderfully relaxing. Please never stop making this product!

This is great stuff! 1 tip, shake it well before using so the ingredients mix well to create more of a gel than an oil. I made that mistake the first time I used it! It's very moisturizing and of course, the sent is amazing and relaxing. Thank you!

I hate this product so much I wish I could give it zero stars. This product made my skin itch and burn so bad. I almost never have to use lotion after I shave but it was the only thing that would soothe the burning and itching. I had this experience with the peppermint and lavender scented products.

I am obsessed with Dr. Bronner’s Organic Shaving Soap, specifically the Lavender variety. I have extremely sensitive skin and am prone to razor burn. This shaving soap thoroughly calms and nourishes my skin while providing a super close shave. I have not had any razor burn since switching to this product. I highly recommend!!!

Packaging needs changed
I think I like the product; however, soooo much product is wasted because the hole on the cap is too big and the product comes pouring out not matter how slow I go. The product has a thin and runny consistency, which is fine, but the packaging needs a smaller hole. I will not be purchasing again, unless the packaging is changed. It’s very annoying, in a non-rude way. Please change the packaging!!

Yay I love it!
Used as a shave soap, it was great. Read on your website it can be used head to toe as a cleanser. Haven’t tried it on my hair. However, it lathers very nicely and is so gentle and moisturizing. It can be a little watery and brown water can squirt out a bit. However, it doesn’t hurt anything and doesn’t bother me. I find more earth friendly things can be a little more difficult in little ways like that. However, it is worth working with them a little for the benefits. I find shaking it well before you use it helps with the brown, squirty business.

Great Shave
A little bit goes a long way with a bowl and a brush. Very little is needed to get an enormous amount of foam. The aroma is very refreshing. Provides a close clean shave. Great product, it takes a little practice to pour the correct amount out of the tube.
