Men's Shave Cream - 6.5 fl oz - Goodfellow & Co™

The shaving cream is silky and smells good, but does not lather with a shaving brush.

I bought this shave cream because couldn't beat the price. What a disappointment. It had the consistency of potato soup so difficult to leave on skin and it smelled like sour milk.

Like the title says, it's garbage. No protection. It barely lays a film onto the skin. I'd do better with plain soap and water.

This product is more akin to lotion then actual shaving cream. It doesn't lather very well, and the smell is completely overpowering. While I enjoy the scent, it is much too strong for a shaving cream, as I can still smell it on my face hours after shaving.

I wasn't expecting much when I bought this, I ran out of my regular shave cream and tried this out. I've used it three times now I usually shave twice a week. I really like the scent and how well it performs. This is probably going to be my new go-to.

We live in Australia and each time we visit our daughter my husband stocks up on this shaving cream. He has now been using it for seven years and only prefers Goodfellows. Nothing else will do!

Very moisturizing and leaves skin clean shaven and smooth

I had bought a few of these to put in my nephews Christmas packages and had one left that I gave to my husband to try. I had forgotten to ask him how he liked it until he showed me had squeezed every drop out. He said it is fabulous. And he is fussy!

Does not lather at all.

It provides almost no protection. Soap works better than this product. Save your money and purchase something else.

I tried this as a more affrodable option to Cremo, but it wasn't as good. It got the job done but never gave a great lather. I have since also tried Alba which is better as well.

This stuff is great! I don't think those giving it a negative review understand that it is meant to be used when you're taking a shower. This stuff is very very thin, but it is made to be washed away easily. I used this for the first time and it left my face clean and smooth. I also really love the sort of minty scent as well! It isn't like regular shaving cream/gel/shaving butter! It still works really well though and is made more for if you want a close shave! I definitely recommend it though, especially for the price!

Odd lingering smell. People complaining about not lather when the product clearly says it's a CREAM.

Way too runny, needs a thicker consistency. Does not lather up when you rub it on your face,. Good scent though.

Concept is a good idea, men's shave cream (not a foam) in a tube, but it's too runny and the annoying fragrance will stay with you for 24 hours, even if you wash your face afterwards. An Up & Up alternative to the discountinued Schick Hydro Sense Shave Cream in a tube would be appealilng.

I’m reviewing this because of the negative reviews it has gotten. 1) I have been a wet shaver for over 40 years. I’m talking real shaving and NOT with cartridges (expensive and worthless). My normal go to is Art of Shaving sandalwood cream, my brush and a Supply razor (shaved with Gillette adjustable razors for years, love the Supply). Now, in a pinch while traveling I purchased the Goodfellow and wasn’t sure what I’d get. Right, this cream does not lather. Not meant to lather, but I can see how someone could be misled. Long short of it, I was surprised. It did very well…better than some of my really expensive creams and soaps. Wet your face (or legs for the girls) and apply like a lotion. Point is…not a ton of water. Key ingredient in this cream is OLIVE OIL, which helps with the glide. Not sure what the folks are using to shave with that claim it’s the same as using water. If they are performing multiple passes then you may want to use a little to re-lubricate. It’s NOT expensive at all, so use it a bit liberally…but again, I was impressed with how it did. And IMO, Cremo is overpriced and does the same or worse than Goodfelllow. Remember, I was prepared to dislike this and give it a negative review. I cannot. And…will buy again to have it always on hand.

I didn't expect much from this, after using a European-sounding brand. I was amazed, my face, and head are both very smooth now. The scent was no too overpowering either. I will buy this again.

Got this for my boyfriend and he loved it! Great smell and great size

My husband loves this line so we decided to try out the shave cream. It’s a different consistency than any shave cream he’s used before it’s more of a lotion but he loves it. Gives a smooth shave & love the smell.
