Great product. I tried this styling product after seeing a review on YouTube. The product is great. I love the smell, and it holds up well, all day. It took a little getting used to, as I usually use a pomade, but. Little goes a long way. It’s tacky to the touch, when applying, but leaves your hair weightless once applied. Highly recommend and will definitely purchase again.

They changed the scent
This used to have a really great smell. Not sure if it smelled like moroccan int and cedar but it smelled really good. Now it smells like some cheap soap you buy from the dollar store. It's actually giving me a headache.

Love this texture clay!
This new reformulation is AMAZING !! It used to be a little rough to apply in the past but now, it's super easy. It gives a nice matte finish, a beautiful texture, lift, volume, thickness, and it is very lightweight. The hold is firm - strong (depends on your hair length & thickness). Smells nice and fresh. Light scent, nothing overpowering. The washout is a breeze. This cocktails super well with the matte pomade (which is more of a texture pomade).

Husband's Favorite Fiber
This is my husband's most used, favorite texturizing fiber. He has tried a lot because our local Target doesn't carry it. It has great hold and gives thin hair more texture and helps it look thicker than it is.

New Formula / Major Downgrade
Came to read the reviews for this product to confirm that I hadn’t just purchased a faulty batch - and it seems I’m not alone. The new formula is incredibly loose and provides little to no hold with a greasy feel and look. What used to be a thick, matte product with great hold is now a very wet, almost gel-like product that is practically unrecognizable from its predecessor. Unsure why the change was made, as the previous formula (and scent) was the best product I’ve used for years. Very disappointed in the unnecessary downgrade in quality for this product.

I've been using the Blue Sage & Tonic paste for well over a year. This new fragrance makes my hair smell like I've been hanging out in a bar for days on end. I used it 2 times, then prompty returned to Target. BRING back the former fragrance.
