I will say, I’m very bougie and picky when it comes to the paste for my hair. I need good hold with not too much shine at all and this stuff is great. I use a product called “Lay Rite - natural deluxe matte cream” and I was in a pinch. Highly recommend, smells great too!

Pretty Cost Effective
Been trying so much stylers for my straight hair and this one works, scent is nice, but it leaves a sorta residue on your hands, if your hair is thick then you have to apply a decent amount. so far after a few months of daily use, my hair has had zero damage. this is pretty good for textures, curls, and slick backs. It still holds during sports, and depending on your hair type it can last 4-8 hours during daily general use. Very good price though.

They keep changing the formula, at this point there’s been like 5 different formulas in the last 2 years which is honestly just an unprofessional way to sell a product. It used to hold well and wasn’t very greasy but now it gets very greasy and has hardly any hold.

Best stuff on the market
Been using the styling fiber for 5 years. Best stuff on the market. Good hold, doesn’t make it look greasy or look like there is product in my hair at all. Brings out the naturalness of my hair with a hold. Tried a bunch of other products from different brands in the past but this is the best. Been putting product in my hair since 3rd grade I swear this is the best stuff. Never buying anything else.

Fragrance is off a bit
Long time "Crew" fiber user. Thought I would try this. Performance is as expected based on the ingredient list, but the fragrance is off. Top end is somewhat pleasing, but the back end is very industrial and soapy. I understand this because I spent decades in the Personal Care industry.

Formula changed and now it’s basically crap. Hold is gone and the finish is no longer matte. It’s greasy and takes a ton more product to get a worse effec
