Pacinos Matte is an amazing grooming paste with a medium hold and a no shine finish. Our Matte is known to provide long lasting definition with a natural finish as well as adding Volume and Fullness to thin hair. Pacinos Matte is ideal for hair types such as Straight, Wavy or Curly. We suggest to apply small amounts at a time through dry or damp hair as needed until you achieve your desired look. Pacinos Matte is water soluble, making it easy to wash out while in the shower or on the go. Our Matte has a light fresh scent that will not be overbearing when applied. This has been my goto paste for years. A tub lasts a very long time and goes fast. Very strong hold and easy to apply, no shine and stops being sticky very quickly. A very subtle scent that fades very quickly, which is what I'm looking for as well.

My husband had to use a ton to get it to even act like he had product in his hair. Otherwise, it wouldn’t hold at all. It also turned his hair white if he messed with his hair at all after the product was dried.

Good product and great for a firm hold, but the paste is pretty dense/tacky when you open it. I was hoping the product would begin to soften up as I used it, but that wasn't the case. If you're wanting that "wind tastefully blowing back your hair as you walk beneath the air curtain at the grocery store" look, then this may not be the one for you. So in other words, if you're looking for a softer look, I wouldn't recommend the "Matte" variety. I can't speak to the other products from the line because I haven't tried them. Good product, just wasn't for me. If you like a more firm styling hold, this paste will do the trick for sure :)

I honestly love the product, it makes my hair very voluminous, throughout the day. The dry look and feel is great, I do not have to worry much about my hair and the small amount I use is great so it lasts a while. It's unfortunate I can never find it in store.
