Q: Is the bottle tip supposed to be sealed? I think it was sealed when I've bought it before and the one I got today wasn't.

A: Sensodyne Extra Whitening contains dental grade abrasives to help physically remove surface stains, and the chemical cleaning ingredient pentasodium triphosphate to help prevent stain build-up compared to our regular Sensodyne products. A: Sensodyne Extra Whitening does not contain SLS/sulfates. Most Sensodyne toothpastes are also free of sodium lauryl sulfate.

This will definitely whiten your teeth. The only downside is that it doesn’t leave my mouth feeling clean. It’s not minty, has a different percentage and type of fluoride used than other sensodyne toothpaste. Great for whitening — but perhaps use a different toothpaste after to reach that freshness this lacks.

I have been using this toothpaste for a long time and it has helped my sensitive teeth quite a bit. Today I opened my most recent package and it tastes like a strange chemical flavor that wasn’t the case before. I see they also changed the manufacturer name on the tube. It used to be gsk and it now says haleon. Apparently gsk separated out their consumer healthcare division, but I wouldn’t have thought they would have changed the formula as well. It also feels like it’s irritating my sensitive teeth unlike before. The flavor is so bad I have to look for a new sensitive toothpaste. I wish they wouldn’t have changed it.
