A: Both products are designed to help protect against enamel erosion due to dietary acids. Both have fluoride-optimized formulas which tip the balance back toward the remineralization of enamel, rehardens teeth, and leave enamel more resilient to subsequent enamel challenges. I guess I’m at the age where I have strong opinions about toothpaste. This is the superior toothpaste. When we were using manual brushes, this had the most dramatic difference. Enough difference that it inspired me to get electric tooth brushes and keep on improving. Even before the tooth brush switch, I’ve seen positive effects in terms of handling ice cubes, better color, and my gums are less bothersome.

Sensodyne Fails Tamper-Resistant Packaging
Do NOT buy toothpaste from Sensodyne, especially if this product represents their commitment to consumer safety. This is my second tube purchased this month. When I opened the first one and realized it was already open, I discounted it as a one-off and thought someone must’ve opened the tube, tasted it, didn’t like the flavor, and simply returned it for a refund. I realize there are people out there who do things like that without notifying store personnel. After purchasing the second one, however, I now realize they have ZERO safeguards in place on the cap or on the box to prevent product tampering once it’s left the manufacturing facility. The box flaps have no tape or glue on either end, and there is NO seal on the tube opening to indicate it is safe and sanitary. It’s 2024, and there are no excuses for a company to neglect the safety of their consumers to avoid the fraction of the cost it would take to make a product tamper-resistant.

Allergic Reaction
I tried this toothpaste because the Mineral Boost toothpaste has been discontinued and this appeared to be the closest replacement. The Mineral Boost formula was my favorite but this Enamel Repair toothpaste gave me a horrible allergic reaction. After only a few days of using the Enamel Repair toothpaste my lips developed a painful rash and turned dry and flaky. It took almost 2 weeks for my lips to fully recover after using this product for such a short time. I'm disappointed that the Mineral Boost formula was discontinued, I have had to change toothpaste brands now.

Helps with tooth pain
This tooth paste has helped with sensitive tooth pain. I previously used PreviDent Sensitive Rx but it would dry up and I couldn't get toothpaste out of the container. I then tried regular Crest but my teeth hurt. This has helped with all tooth pain. The flavor is a mild mint that's ok but not great. I wish they would make a flip top, which is faster and easier than screwing on/off the lid every time I use it (star removed for design).

Great for improving teeth sensitivity
This has been a godsend with my teeth. Since recovering from a surgery, I struggle with nutrient absorption and sometimes my hair and teeth take the brunt of it. This has my typically sensitive teeth feeling like before and I’m able to enjoy cold and sweets again!
