A: You sign up through Quip which buyer beware has zero phone support, & ridiculously bad customer service. Good luck if you have any issues on your credit card transactions etc.

A: Our standard quip Sonic Toothbrushes are powered by a AAA battery that can be swapped out every 3 months with your Brush Head. We do offer Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrushes, however, and if you opt for one of those, a Magnetic Charging Cable will be included with your purchase.

A: We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You can remove your brush head by gripping the head and handle in opposite hands, bristles facing away from you. Place your thumb on the dots, then gently pull the head off in a slight arc motion (don’t snap it directly backwards). If you're still having trouble, get in touch at www.getquip.com/pages/faq

A: The quip Kids Electric Toothbrush contains a Small Brush Head and a rubber handle for easier grip, so this may be a good option for you. However, our Brush Heads are compatible with all handles we offer, so you can use a Small Brush Head on any of our Standard Electric Toothbrush options if preferred.

Really awesome toothbrush!
This is a really awesome toothbrush! It leaves my teeth feeling clean and isn’t too hard on my gums. I especially like the pulsating timer that lets me know how long I’ve been brushing each section of my teeth.

Great product! The timer is the best.
I really like the Quip toothbrush and have used it since it came onto the market. This one replaces the one I have for at least 5 years. I really like the new stand, too. My regular cleanings and checkups have been stellar since I started using Quip. Who has time to figure out 2 minutes? I don't, but the easy quadrant process with the little vibration that signals it is time to move to the next quadrant really makes the process easy! Great product!

Second one and love it!
Best toothbrush ever! I kept my old one of these way too long and I bought a replacement electric toothbrush elsewhere, but it didn't even come close. Glad I got another one. Batteries are easy to replace, but I wish the replacement heads were cheaper, it's just more cost effective to buy a whole new one.

Finally got my replacement
My original Sonic finally needed to be replaced after a few years. I kept it going as long as I could with help from Sonic CS, but thee was nothing nothing left to do except to order a new one. Glad to be back to my old routine of using my Sonic.

Battery dead when i opened the box
Battery was dead upon opening the box. Looked slightly corroded under the when pulling off the brush head to check on the battery. This was inconvenient because I opted for this model of electric toothbrush when I left my regular one at home. Disappointed!

I was surprised to read the getting started instructions and not see the bit about Vicks vaporing. I had always added that water protection. Was it now not needed? Then I read the booklet. It is still required. You should add that to the quick start instructions.

I bought this last September and have had nothing but issues-constantly having to troubleshoot it and follow the guide. Most recently it stopped working and no battery changes/troubleshooting would work. I reached out and was told my warranty expired-convenient that your motor craps out shortly after the warranty does

Oh hey, shortie!
The bristles are a lot shorter than I expected and it’s a strange feeling at first but the packaging it comes in is great and fully recyclable. The “neck” of the brush is extremely flat which feels a little funny if you’re not used to it but it works great and leaves you feeling fresh. It comes with a travel tube as well as an internal brush holder that can stick to a mirror or flat surface (photo below)

Neutral rating: personal, subjective pros and cons
Reusable base is great. Location of the power button is a touch awkward for pressing to start brushing my teeth. I love the metal base, that I’m not touching a bunch of plastic for 2min straight. Took a few days to get used to the different size and shape of the handle compared to my previous electric toothbrush, but I do appreciate how long the bristle section is. I think that’s why it cleans the way it does. I do find that the vibration of my previous toothbrush (from another company) vibrates better allowing for that super clean feel quicker. Unless it’s more the length of the bristle section combined with the shape of the brush compared to the shape of my jaw that makes it more challenging to achieve the squeaky clean feeling I’m used to. Unsure, I’m still adjusting to it, basically. But my 3 stars are simply meant to be a neutral position on it, it’s good quality from what I have felt and seen. I do appreciate the travel cover/base for holding the brush when not in use, that I can just flip the brush so the head is in the base or the handle is in the base to meet my needs.

I love the sonic toothbrushes that do not require a plug to recharge it. The disposable battery option saves this review. The life-span of the motor is not great (and you have to buy an brand new toothbrush....) but the scheduled refills are great!
