A: The answer is subjective. Soft does not really have a specific definition. I would call them medium using Colgate toothbrushes as a baseline.

A: You can change out your battery by lightly gripping the handle in one hand and Brush Head in the other with the bristles pointing away from you. Gently pull the head off the handle in a slight arc motion to reveal the motor and battery.

I bought this toothbrush because I liked that it was relatively cheap for an electric toothbrush, it’s sleek and it has replacement heads that can be sent to you on a subscription. The 2 minute timer is a bonus, so I don’t have to pay close attention to how long I’ve been brushing my teeth, but I know I’m getting the full 2 minutes. The issue is the toothbrush randomly shuts off on me almost constantly. I’ve bought 2 of these toothbrushes and both have the issue. I don’t know if the button gets knocked out of whack or what but it’s extremely frustrating when I’m brushing my teeth and my toothbrush shuts off. It happens almost every time I use the toothbrush. Why even bother spending $30 on an electric toothbrush if I end up using said toothbrush to manually brush my teeth half the time anyway?

This toothbrush is designed differently than the one I had prior - there is a long white cartridge permanently attached to the brush (I am assuming it contains the motor and battery and I'll get a new one every 3 months instead of just a brush head??) and it doesn't fit well into the metal base. As I'm brushing, the base slides off, and when I return the toothbrush to the holder after I'm done brushing, water drips down the brush and collects in the metal base. I wanted a different color brush (had the copper metal base before) but didn't realize I would be getting a whole new system. I'm not in love with how this one is, and wish that I had stayed with my previous brush.

I recently replaced my quip toothbrush because the motor stopped working, and the replacement had a faulty motor as well. Quip was kind enough to send another replacement free of charge. Fingers crossed that this one will actually work. If not, I’ll be shopping for another brand.

I don't think I would use it as my everyday toothbrush, my teeth didn't feel as squeaky clean as after I use my Sonicare, but for travel it's perfect!
