Oral-B iO Series 5 Electric Toothbrush with Brush Head

I thought it would take too much time and effort to manage an electric toothbrush. But this device has had a great impression on me. Easy to use and set up, isn’t bulky, and it helps me apply the right pressure while brushing so that I get an optimal clean. Plus it looks so cool in my bathroom!

I love the whitening mode. It also has a built in 2 minute timer. You can look forward to healthier gum and cleaner teeth in one week. There is also an APP you can download. Since my mouth is small, it initially felt like the brush head was taking up all the space. However, the benefits quickly made up for that. A full charge lasts over a week, and the brush runs for two minutes, signaling every 30 seconds to switch areas. The light turns red if you apply too much pressure, helping to prevent overbrushing. Most importantly, my teeth feel as clean as they do after a professional cleaning at the dentist. The only downside is I feel that the brush head is going to be replaced more often than other brands.

It doesn’t make my nose itch which was a problem with previous electric toothbrushes I’ve tried, so I’m happy they solved that! It has a light to let you know when you’re applying too much/to little pressure. My dentist actually recommended a toothbrush with a pressure sensor since she was seeing some gum recession, which is permanent. Overall I really like this toothbrush. I think the vibration after feeling can be somewhat unpleasant at times, so there are times I miss my manual tooth brush a bit. But I know I’m getting a better clean here.

It took a while to charge up but the battery have lasted a good while. The motor isn’t too loud and the speed of the brush is well. Nothing too harsh. The pressure light is super helpful, 🟢 means perfect, 🔵 is too soft and 🔴 is too much. I recommend starting with the sensitive mode to get used to it. The app tracks where you brush and lets you know when you’re done with each area (mostly accurate). Charging takes a bit long, but the battery lasts nicely. And I love the fact it comes with its case, perfect for traveling and at home.

Before I upgraded to this one I was already using an electric oral b toothbrush and loved it, but never knew how much more powerful and better they could be until I tried this one. Straight out of the package you can see how much better quality it is vs my other one. It has an led screen showing different brush options with a power button and mode button. There are customizable features to the toothbrush in the oral b app. Also in the app you can select goals for yourself and it will help you to achieve them. They give you a ton of facts and information about your teeth and the toothbrush itself. It will show you on your phone your exact movements when brushing your teeth and how well you clean them. I like using the whitening mode because that is my goal to have whiter, brighter teeth. It will show you in the toothbrush itself in different colors if you are pressing too hard or not pressing hard enough. It will have following up things you can do if you select a goal such as like brushing your tongue, flossing, and rinsing. It also will track if your gums bleed at all after brushing. This toothbrush comes in 3 different colors, black, white and pink. They suggest changing out the toothbrush head every three months for optimal brushing and to eliminate harmful bacteria on the brush head. I absolutely love this toothbrush and for the price tag I 100% say it is worth your time and money. This is something to invest in for your oral health and it sure will last you a long time.

The design of this toothbrush is awful. Water sits in the connection part between the head of the toothbrush and the arm of the toothbrush. After a few months, so much mold grew in mine, and I did not realize it. It is absolutely disgusting and impossible to clean out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothbrush is my first circle power brush and it truly does it all. It makes you feel clean, and polished up. The lighting system tells you green for good brushing or red for too fast or hard pressure (which I apparently do a lot) so this will help correct me on that. The brushing is very gentle, noise is pretty quite compared to my Phillips Sonicare. Comes with an app for better brushing influence so far it’s been a better change for my routine!
