It worked fine for about a year and half then the battery got flacky and would die at 45 to 60% charge. Not impressed.

I bought a twin pack io6 for my daughter and myself. The Oral B io toothbursh was recommended to me from her orthodontist. I did buy the bundle. After I putchasee them I regretted it. I thought they were too expensive for a toothbrush. Best decision I have ever made!!!! I will NEVER go back to using anything else but the io 6 series. In the future I will probably try the higher io series. Best decision ever!!!!! I recommend this toothbrush to anyone who is looking into buying one.
I love it. It’s just like getting a dentist clean feeling right from the dentist chair every single day twice a day actually

Was already 3 times replaced by the warranty because it suddenly starts to drop charge. Sometimes from 90% to 0% and then you have to charge it for 12 hours for it to be usable again. Judging by all the other reviews I'm not the only one with this issue. How can such an expensive brush be that low quality? My previous brush from oral that worked on 2 aa batteries was working for 7 years before the plastics started to break. So I bought this expensive brush thinking oral b is top quality. I'm so disappointed.

My teeth feel dentist clean!

I have had this toothbrush for about a year. It is fantastic. Because of the vibration reminders, I always brush for 2 minutes. My teeth are MUCH cleaner than when I use my manual toothbrush. I love the feel of smooth teeth, like right after I get my teeth cleaned at the dentist! The only thing is that the charge isn't holding as long. My husband and I use the same handle and we go about a week then recharge.
HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE

This toothbrush battery is HORRIBLE. I’ve only had this toothbrush for 1.5 years. A few days ago, the toothbrush died in my mouth while brushing (pretty typical) and I put it on the charger, and it said 35% battery. But off the charger, it said 0%. I left it on the charger all day, took it off and started brushing, it died again in my mouth while brushing, and says says 0% now on and off the charger. The toothbrush up until now held a charge for at least 3 days (which is still pretty bad). Highly highly highly do not recommend and if I could get a refund, I would in a heartbeat. What a waste of money! My old toothbrush was a sonic care and that one is about 5 years old and still charges well and holds a charge for a week. Go buy sonic care instead! Do NOT BUY ORAL B!
it works for brushing, thats it. overpriced

After 6 months the battery doesn’t hold a charge anymore. I had to charge it once every 2 weeks and now I’m having to charge it every 4 days. It will be at 10% and when turned on it immediately says 0%.

I was one who never thought that an electric toothbrush could make a difference with the health of my teeth and gums over traditional brushing. I am totally hooked on my Oral B - the timer is a game changer. I know that with traditional brushing I probably never came close to brushing for the required time. Brushing now requires patience as I take the time to go over each tooth. And by doing that, I complete the required time for brushing plus some. My teeth feel as though I just had a professional cleaning.

I bought this when my gums were on 🔥 This OralB IO 6 is the best toothbrush I’ve had in 78 years. Love the choices of sensitive, gum care, daily clean, etc 👍 My gums healed, white teeth, plaque gone. My mouth feels so young. The reviews that say you can’t feel the difference between settings…you must not have sensitive gums…because there is big differences Never been so happy with a toothbrush!!!

Absolutely awful product. Nothing like the previous ones that I’ve purchased. Got this for Christmas and it stopped working after 4 months.

While it’s a great clean…the brush is poorly designed. I’ve had it for 3 months. There are open holes all around the brush head, I’m assuming because of the smart technology (it knows when you’re tipping/rotating)…but every time I clean the brush head by itself, black gunk just flows out of the head & out of all crevices. I rinsed out the entire toothbrush for about four minutes and things would not stop flowing out. I have a normal oral cleaning routine, the black gunk is not coming from me. When I run the toothbrush on without the brush head, gunk also comes out of the part that vibrates. I can’t help but to wonder if it’s mold or something else, but I am spooked and will be using something else. Proceed with caution. I’m sorry, I would include photos, but I obsessively rinse the toothbrush for four minutes and toss it. I don’t have anything to show.

Stopped working Les than a year after getting it. Oral b will not replace it bc I couldn’t find my receipt. They will not even repair it at my expense. Huge waste of money.
1 reply from Oral-B team - 10 months ago
We're very sorry this has been your experience, Qwerty. Know that all our Oral-B Electric Toothbrushes go through strict quality checks to ensure you can rely on them for an average of 3-5 years following their use instructions. And we stand behind them with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, but a receipt is required to be able to take advantage of this. However, you can still get your brush repaired at your expense by sending it in to one of our regional service centers. Please give us a call at (800) 566-7252 so we can further assist you!

After 6 months of use the battery will not hold a charge. Fully charged, and 50 seconds into brushing it goes dead. Doesn’t surprise me since nothing is made to last anymore.

Melissa, we know how important it is to have a fully charged toothbrush, and would like to help. Please know, there are many quality checks in place to help ensure only the best products reach you, and we'd expect this toothbrush to last anywhere from 3-5 years. I bought this Jan 1 and have used it for 13 days. My teeth haven't felt cleaner. It's fun to use and has a lot of different settings so you choose how you want to brush. The app even guides you so you can see where you might be missing or not cleaning enough. It's almost like a game. You can even win medals for learning good oral care. This thing is powerful. If you aren't used to a powerful brush take care when first using this. I also have a Sonicare (different shape head). It doesn't move as much. I was using a generic round brush so I needed extra pressure. Don't do that with this brush, you don't need it. I hurt a section of my gum. The Oral B does have the indicator light letting you know if you have too much pressure. Let the brush do the work.
Pretty good, brushing guide sometimes inaccurate

I am fairly happy with the Oral B IO 6. I noticed at times that the brushing guide will show a different region being brushed than the region that I am actually brushing. The area that I am currently brushing won't get lighter. I have to move the brush around and I think I end up overbrushing trying to satisfy the guide. I think it is a great idea. It could be more accurate. I found that if I hold the brush and then open the app, the app will always detect the brush. If I open the app, then pick up the brush, it usually won't detect the brush
