I love this new Waterpik!

Wrong, USED Item
Received a USED Waterpik that wasn’t even the one advertised and Target deceptively sealed it as if it were new. We packed the new box and moved and unfortunately were just outside the return window when we finally unboxed the perfectly sealed item…only to find a different item which was clearly USED. Target washed their hands of it and said it wasn’t their problem and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Disgusting all around, for such a pricey item at that!

Mixed usefulness but it does work
We bought it for vacations. It works moderately as well as the larger one we have at home but the strength is not as great so I'm not sure it does the same good job. Also, we find it a little hard to fill.

Powerful stream
I just started using it since I have had it for only a few weeks! It is more powerful than my previous waterpik. It has two speeds: low and high. I prefer the low speed but the high speed cleans quickly and can be very forceful and slightly painful. Since the waterpik is powerful, it empties the water fast. I sometimes have to repeat the process to make sure my teeth are clean. So far I am happy with the powerful stream and I like the size of the waterpik which it is nice for travel. He two year warranty came with the product which is nice since some of my previous brands didn’t seem to hold up.

I've had water pics in the past. This Waterpik brand is such a disappointment, this new Waterpik brand has no power compared to my old off brand pics.

I just had hand surgery, so manual flossing isn’t an option for me these days. I got this to use for daily use. It worked ok, though at times uncomfortably “sharp” water pressure and a reservoir that needed to be refilled to complete each use. Then, after 4 weeks, it still turned on, but would not even spit out any water. I’ve cleaned the inside, the tubing, tips and connections but it just won’t move water anymore. Now it’s just a noisy paperweight.

Love this!! So easy to use. The only disadvantage is that I have to fill the water reservoir more frequently since this is a portable water flosser. The dental hygienist even commented on how little plaque was on my teeth!

Excellent investment in your dental health
I am a type 1 diabetic and over the years, this disease has caused my gums to deteriorate resulting in loss of teeth. After numerous recommendations from my dental hygienist I finally broke down and bought this device. I regret not purchasing sooner. Within 5 days of use, I noticed a difference in my gums. They feel healthier and I have had less pain and discomfort when eating. My only regret is not purchasing this 2-3 years ago.

Disappointing flosser
The water flosser was quite disappointing. The on/off switch is not a push button, but rather a slide switch that does not move easily. This is problematic with a mouthful of water in the process of flossing. Also, the recharging plug is very difficult to remove from the charger. Given Waterpik’s reputation as a leader in this area, along with the price, I find these drawbacks unacceptable. I have replaced it with an Aquasonic flosser without any problems and significantly cheaper.
