Q: does this water pic have the proposition 65
A: If test results indicate no chemicals on the Proposition 65 list were detected or exceeded the Safe Harbor Limit, why remove the Proposition 65 labeling? Hmmm... Makes no sense...
submitted byNancy - 4 years agoA: Waterpik recently completed testing of our water flosser products for compliance with the California Proposition 65 law. Test results indicate no chemicals on the Proposition 65 list were detected or exceeded the Safe Harbor Limit; therefore, the Proposition 65 labeling has since been removed from our Oral Care products.
submitted byWaterpik - 5 years agoBrand expertA: I believe it is probably because Waterpiks, as well as other such devices, can develop mold inside of the wand devices.

Q: What are the pros and cons of having a water reservoir instead of just a flosser?
A: Less time refilling, better flow for flossing session Just dry it well and shake water out of the pieces
submitted byCooking Mama - 9 months agoA: The only con I've noticed is that it is too loud.
submitted bySJ - 5 years agoA: The Waterpik Water Flosser has been around since 1962 and is designed to take the place of traditional string floss and has actually been clinically proven to be up to 50% more effective than traditional string floss for improving gum health. You can read the clinical research here: https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/clinical-research/ In addition, we have been awarded the American Dental Assoiciation's prestigious Seal of Acceptance for its efficacy and safety. You can read about that here: https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/blog/waterpik-ada-seal-acceptance/

Q: Is the resivoir easy to remove, to pour out the liquid, and to clean?
A: Yes! I dry it on a clean wash rag in my bathroom window for next time
submitted byCooking Mama - 9 months agoA: Yes it is very easy to remove. Pulls right off for easy filling, emptying, and cleaning.
submitted bymoosecat - 8 years agoA: For longer life out of your Water Flosser, don't allow the reservoir to run completely dry when using. When the water pressure begins to decrease as the water level drops (you'll hear a change in sound), turn the unit off. It'll keep the pump from running dry.

Q: Is the top to store additional (wet) waterpik tips? I can't see vents in the cover compartment to dry the the tips between uses nor a vent to air the reservoir which could lead to mold issues.
A: Thank you. Between the standard cleaning, are there vents on the top to help dry the tips between uses?
submitted byLinda - 7 months agoA: Hello Linda - The lid is there to cover the reservoir and store you're most used Jet Tips. We recommend cleaning your water flosser and accessories regularly to prevent any buildup. Q: Does this work with 220 volts?
A: Hi Eileen - The Ultra is compatible with 120VAC/60Hz outlets, for use in North America only.
submitted byWaterpik - 4 years agoBrand expertA: You need to change in the description that this runs on a battery as power source.
submitted byFLTeal - 4 years ago
Q: I just ordered the gray one, but this is the only color that says...Battery -Powered?? All the other colors in this same model are electric. I need electric. Is this a misprint? Thank you!
A: All Waterpik Ultra Water Flossers are electric. Thank you for alerting us to this error. We are working to get it fixed.
submitted byWaterpik - 5 years agoBrand expertA: Question was asked in 2020. In December 2024, the description is still incorrect. I almost didn't buy it because of the incorrect description and wouldn't have known it's actually electric with a cord and plug if I didn't read the Q&A.
