Q: Is it difficult to change the batteries?

A: Hello Megaz - No, it is pretty easy to change out the batteries. To insert the batteries, you will need to remove the reservoir, twist the battery door from the left from the locked position to the unlocked, and pull the battery door away from the unit. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but also how often the unit is used. Q: Worked great for one week, now there is no pressure. Pressure sounds like it would be good when turned on with no water/tip/container, but once everything is connected and I use water, the pressure is completely gone and it sounds like it’s about to die.

A: Hello - You can safely use a small amount of peroxide mixed with a full reservoir of water. Be sure to flush the unit with a reservoir of clear water after each use to flush any residual peroxide out of the water pathway.

I hated how often I had to change the batteries out on this waterpik. I would go through changing batteries every month which is a huge waste. Before I knew it, my waterpik would die out on me just as I would go to use it. I ordered re-chargeable batteries so I no longer have that problem now. Now every month I just recharge the same batteries and it works like new. I love the amount of pressure this gives. It reaches particles that brushing does get out. It does take time to get used to not making a mess of water in the beginning. Your gums may bleed from the pressure also but will subside with regular consistent use (2x a day) Other than the battery issue I had in the beginning, this was a good investment.

This worked great until it didn't. Just under 1 year into using and it's lost all power like it's about to die. We'll see what the warranty covers but I would recommend finding a different product to avoid the headache.

Do not buy this item. It died after 2 weeks, changed the batteries which lasted abither month then it dies completely. I didnt own it more then 3 months. Pure JUNK.

Although I loved using this flosser while it lasted, it quit working about a year after I bought it. (bought in Feb 2023 - quit in March 2024) The batteries were fine with no corrosion in the compartment. I'm not sure why it quit, but I am reluctant to invest the money to replace it.

I've used a Waterpik for years, but the dentist recently recommended my husband use one. Mine was on its last legs so I bought us each a new one. Mine is pink and his is navy (and I don't know why that makes me so happy.) They work really well. My husband is amazed at how much food they are able to clean. The cordless feature is AWESOME.

I’ve been so happy with my Waterpik! My teeth are cleaner and breath is fresher. It is even whitening my teeth! The battery operated version is really convenient. It sits nicely on a shelf in my bathroom, with no cords to deal with. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family!
