A: We're very sorry for the confusion. All of our iO models have a sensitive mode that you can cycle through. Pressing the button a few times should get you to the sensitive mode, which will be slower than our other modes.

It has a self timer and can be used for days with just one charge. It isn’t noisy rather doesn’t make loud sound but works so much better.

You will see healthier gums in about a week or so and have less plaque buildup while giving you that "I just went to the dentist" type of clean feeling. Once you have completed your 2 minute recommended brush, you get congratulated with a multi color lightring show. Another unique feature is that there is a change brush head alert and it holds charge well :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a quadriplegic, I have always struggled when it comes to brushing my teeth with a regular toothbrush. I also struggle with my gums receding so they are very sensitive. I have used many different electric powered toothbrushes over the years, but this is hands-down the best power toothbrush I have ever used. I immediately noticed a difference in how clean my teeth were getting compared to my previous toothbrush. It is gentle on my gums yet effective when cleaning both my gums and my teeth. After using for just one month, my dentist noticed a huge improvement when it comes to how much plaque it removed. There is a colored ring around the toothbrush that lights up to different colors indicating if you are brushing too hard or if you are applying just enough pressure. Every 30 seconds, it stutters indicating that you need to move to the next section of your teeth. I also love that it comes with a travel case. No other electric toothbrush I have used has ever came with one and we travel quite often. It also comes with an app, but I personally was not impressed with the app so I did not use it. Overall, this will be my permanent toothbrush from now on.

I also like the green/red indicator lights on when you may be applying too much pressure while brushing. Overall a solid product my only downside is I wish it came with two brush heads not just one.

Every time, after brushing, I flush the brush head and base with water to remote any extra toothpaste build up. Well. That doesn’t do the job and there is a nasty accumulation of gunk on my toothbrush. If never has this happen with other Oral B models, so I cannot recommend this to anyone.

After each brushing session, it is recommended to rinse the brush off while it is still running, turn the brush off and remove the brush head, towel dry both the handle and the brush head, and then allow the brush head to air dry before placing it back on the brush. My teeth feel like I just came from the dentist after using it- makes them feel super clean. It is a little busy but not too much and not an issue. I think it’s a good value for the money and especially since you can repurchase the brush heads.

My mouth feels very clean after using, probably my favorite feature is that it will light up red when you are using too much pressure. I had no idea I had been brushing too hard. It gives vibrations to let you know when you have completed your 2 minute brushing session so there’s no guessing involved. Noise level is minimum and it comes with a travel case. In the app you can track your brushing sessions, and it will remind you when it is time to replace the brush head. You can adjust your mode of brushing based on sensitivity which is great. I experienced no gum bleeding as I frequently do with other toothbrushes.

It’s cool that it has a pressure sensor although I haven’t had the alert that would probably be good for people that apply too much pressure when brushing. The noise is okay, I’d say the same as most electric toothbrushes. The timer is good to have also so you are getting the recommended 2 minutes of brushing. It’s a bit pricey but for the name brand it is expected.

Our toothbrush components do not contain any organic materials that could cause mold. The buildup is often just residue from regular use. Even with rinsing after each use, toothpaste can harden over time, creating a chalky coating that may appear black. Water and toothpaste can also collect on the brush head and handle, leaving a residue that varies in color depending on the type of toothpaste and water hardness. While we are sure you take great care of your toothbrush, here are a few cleaning tips: 1) Thoroughly rinse the brush head with the toothbrush switched on to minimize toothpaste residue remaining on the brush between uses. 2) After rinsing, switch the brush off, remove the brush head from the handle, and clean both parts separately under running water. Wipe both the handle and the brush head dry with a soft towel. 3) Leave both the handle and brush head to air dry further before putting the brush head and handle back together.
