Q: What type of batteries does this toothbrush use?
A:Â It comes with it's own battery. It charges by being plugged into an outlet, the toothbrush charges by being on the stand via wireless charger. Hope this helps!

Q: Does it come with multiple tooth brushes so that more than one person can use it?
A:Â But you can switch out the brush head (removable) for each person.

Q: could it be used univerally? What's the plug voltage?
A:Â If you have a transformer that converters your electrical service to 120 volts, then you can use it.
submitted byBob W - 7 years agoA:Â No. The charger only works with 120 VAC (eg US). I tried to use one in Europe with a plug converter (not a transformer) and that broke it.
submitted byLex - 5 years agoA:Â Oral-B electric toothbrushes contain either a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery or a lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery. NiMH batteries have a nominal voltage of 1.2 V; the Li-Ion battery has a nominal voltage of 3.6 V. The Pro Crossaction 1000 Brush has a NiMH (Nickel-metal hydride) battery.

Q: Can you use this toothbrush in the shower?
A:Â I never tried it but I wash mine off under the running faucet every time I use mine. The case appears to be sealed so as long as the case isn't damaged you can.
submitted byBob W - 7 years agoA: Yes, all Oral-B electric toothbrushes are waterproof, so it is fine to use them in the shower. However, we don’t recommend immersing your brush in water. We recommend making sure that you completely dry the handle after use and before charging.

Q: I have an older Oral B that came with a charging stand that will hold three brush heads. My question is will this charge the newer brushes?

Q: Is this safe with braces?
A:Â While it's safe to use any of our electric toothbrush cleaning modes on braces, we recommend using the 'Sensitive' mode. It oscillates at a lower speed for extra care and comfort along the gum line -- and around the brackets and orthodontic wires. Not all brushes offer this feature, so be sure to look for a model that features the 'Sensitive' brushing mode. In addition, while most of our electric toothbrush heads are safe to use on braces, we do not recommend using the Floss Action or 3D White head brushes. The best brush heads to use are our Oral-B Ortho brush head which is specially designed to effectively and gently clean around braces. Precision Clean is also an excellent option because it has longer bristles at the top and bottom which will "cup" around a tooth with a brace and penetrate hard-to-reach areas.

Q: I dropped my toothbrush just in the sink and since then when I turn it on it sounds like the motor or something is on but the brush doesn't rotate. do I need a new device or just a new toothbrush head
A:Â We're sorry your brush stopped working. While our brushes are very durable, unfortunately, damage is possible if a brush has been dropped. We recommend first trying a different brush head to determine if the brush head was damaged. If a new brush head doesn't resolve the issue, you may need a new brush handle.
