WHY is this scented? Grosssssss
I didn’t realize this was scented when I bought it and it is HORRIBLE. It is not a fresh scent like toothpaste, etc. it’s an overpowering chemical smell and it clings to everything. I bought this for an upcoming trip, put it on a new toothbrush, and immediately threw it away. Indescribably bad smell. I don’t know if there’s an unscented version, but don’t buy this if you’re remotely sensitive to smells/have a working nose.

Off-putting chemical scent
Wanter to protects our electric toothbrushes (kids oral b, adult Sonicare, manual regular size) that are stored inside a lined drawer. Does that. Kiddos like the scent of the freshness pac. Personally I thought it was strong and offputting unidentifiable chemical scent. That scent that warns, "don't put this in your mouth/eat." Like a moisture wicking pack that you might find in the bottom of sports equiment product box. But when i opened the case the next morning to use my toothbrush my toothbrush actualy smells "better." I don't know that i ever noticed a scent on my toothbrush, but this time i got a fresh/clean scent. So that was nice. Also the strong wafting scent of the pod isn't there anymore unless i put my nose to the case. I was worried the scent initial would create a weird taste in my mouth but it didn't. 4 stars instead of 5 because you have to replace the internal pod (fresh pac) every 3months since there are no vents--i think this prevents the toothbrush from getting moldy. And i don't know what chemical is in the pods or the effect it will have on my family's health overtime. Not sure I'll replace the pods.

Had a terrible smell when I opened it out of the packaging. Smelt like bad plastic and chemicals. I washed it, Let it soak, and even used clorox wipes to clean. It still smelt terrible. I had to throw this product out. Do not recommend!
