I’ve had this toothbrush for a quite a while now and it does get the job done. The charge lasts around 20 days which is great compared to having to leave every other electric toothbrush on the charger every day. I will say though, the case gets kind of gross and needs frequent cleaning but that is to be expected

It’s a very nice battery-operated toothbrush. I works as well as the electric powered ones. It also comes with a very nice travel case and it has the two minute timer on it, like the more expensive ones.

Great stocking stuffer idea for Christmas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a GREAT stocking stuffer idea for my husband! (Yes, Sants gives toothbrushes!) In years past, I had purchased for both of us the rechargeable Sonicare toothbrush, which I loved mine but he was not a huge fan of because he felt the movement was too much for his sensitive teeth and gums. This battery operated version he loves and is very pleased with the black version I purchased for him. (I ended up with the peach colored one and love it too.) It's 5 stars all around for both of us. And the price, it's very affordable. Invest in yourself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend this Philips One by Sonicare Battery Toothbrush. I love mine! Years ago, I had the chargeable Sonicare version, which I had no complaints about, but I absolutely love they now have a version that can be used for travel. Because it's so easy to store, I use it in my home every day and I will definitley use it for travel too. The design is sleek, easy to handle and not to big or bulky. 5 stars!

Glad I switched to the yellow one now. It’s a decent beginner toothbrush, I wouldn’t recommend to those who already have the more expensive Sonicare brushes. Handy for traveling!

I left my toothbrush charging for a few hours and returned to my bathroom smelling like burning plastic. The bottom of the toothbrush had melted off and the charging cable had melted as well. This is the absolute last time I will buy a Philips toothbrush.

Fan of This Style "Electric" Toothbrush

Do not be confused by other reviews that complain of this not acting like a standard electric toothbrush; it's not one. This style of toothbrush essentially vibrates and notifies you when to switch to a different quadrant of your mouth to focus on brushing. It helps keep you brushing for the dentist recommended 2 minutes. Works perfectly and it's made well.

I have my smile back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally switched back to an electric toothbrush after my dental hygienist recommended Philips Sonicare over Oral B. I gave up on my Oral B years ago because even though it was fancy and expensive, I didn't feel as though it cleaned all that well. With this brush, my teeth feel clean and polished, and they look brighter and whiter than before! I think the vibrations are doing the trick! Overall, I would highly recommend this brush to anyone who needs to make the switch from a manual brush. My only nitpick would be that the 30-second vibrations are a little too subtle. It's really hard to notice them with my bathroom fan on.

I agree with another reviewer that if you’ve used Sonicare brushes before then stay away. I am a lifelong user of Philips Sonicare toothbrushes as both of my parents are dental hygienists. This one is the weakest electric toothbrush I have ever used of any brand. I like the idea of it being battery operated. If you travel you don’t have to worry about charging your brush. It is also physically appealing and it has a nice case. But it’s way too weak to be an every day electric toothbrush. I did not feel like it cleaned my teeth at all honestly compared to my typical Sonicare brush which makes me feel as if I’ve left the dentist. Literally any other Sonicare toothbrush is way better.

THE BEST TOOTHBRUSH I'VE USED!!

5 out of 5 stars

I have had many toothbrushes in my lifetime. And my fair share of electric ones too. BUT THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE BEST ONE I HAVE OWNED. I used to own a Quip prior to this one but the motor stopped working within a few weeks. This is due to the motor vibrating too much and slipping out of place and I paid double than I paid for this one. I have only had this toothbrush for 1 week and I'M IN LOVE WITH IT!! The vibrations are soft on your teeth and gums, but tough on plaque, or any other gunk in your teeth. It's sleek, affordable, and gentle on your teeth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOOTHBRUSH!!

Love the 2 minute timer, but the brush itself just vibrates… the bristles don’t even move!
1 reply from Philips team - 3 months ago
Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear you like the timer function. As for the brush itself, please note that it rotates to the half and back, so not a full circle. If the brush is not moving at all, it could help to try a different brush head. We hope that might help you out! If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch via social media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook and Twitter. Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the contact page on our website. One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further. Hope to speak to you soon! Kind regards, Philips Consumer Care

I recently left my Sonicare 9000 at a friends out of town and bought this to hold me over. It was a great value but my teeth don't feel anywhere near as clean. I'd spend a little extra to get something with a better pulse to the brush head.

I like the design, less bulky brush head than Oral B, and it’s ability to clean. I tried others after using Quip brand which has a very good brush head and cleaned well but battery placement via brush end created longer term issues during brush replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philips One is much smaller and lighter than the other Sonicare toothbrushes, and battery life is much better. Toothbrush is not as powerful as other Sonicare brushes, and is more comparable to the Quip.
