Irish Spring Bar Soap - Original Clean 3.7oz

Please bring back the original formulation. The current iteration is definitely a fail.

Original clean => original … so the scent has been improved lighter then original clean but it is still much too strong. The forward scent is better like bergamot in the old classic and old moisture blast before you messed it all the scents up but the back side is too musky. The ingredients look similar however maybe the scent changed certain ingredients doesn’t dry me out as bad when you changed it. Still the scents pre-2020 were far better and enjoyable. Listen to your customers and change them ALL back classic, moisture blast, aloe

Hey Irish spring I understand that this isn’t a review but I just wanna say that you guys should release a product called neon soap or something like that but-well you can change the name however you want but the main thing is that it’s neon soap and you should make it cost extra money cause it’s really cool. Make it so that it’s used for festivals and all that stuff so that when you do your hair with it, your hair glows in the dark! Hope you liked the idea!

Great - I bought these as a stocking stuffer gift for my husband and he loved it - the bars last for a very long time.

I've used this soap for the majority of the time since I was a teen , now 53. Sometimes I change it up and use a different soap or body wash. Fairly recently came back to Irish spring , couldn't figure out why it smelled different and left me feeling kinda dirty. Did a quick look, yep, the package says original. When I started breaking out with boils I did a better look at the package. It is not original even though it says so in large print on the packaging. It has flaxseed oil in it, explains the different smell and dirty feeling. My husband is in the hospital now with 9 inches of Necrotized skin removed from this soap. I can't even find the real original where I shop. It doesn't matter though because I will never use Irish spring again. Duke Cannon is the best I've found.

BEST! SOAP! EVER! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SOAP ANY SOAP MAKER, MAKES IN THE WORLD.... THE SCENT AND LATHER IS JUST INVIGORATING AND I AM IN LOVE WITH IT, LOL. OH, BTW, I DON'T SEE THIS AS A "MAN'S SOAP".... I GREW UP IN THE 90'S AS A CHILD WITH IRISH SPRING AS THE SOAP THE FAMILY USED. ALL FAMILIES I KNEW DID, OR COAST.... THERE WEREN'T REALLY ANY WOMEN'S AND MEN'S SOAP BACK THEN.... SOAP WAS SOAP. BUT, I DON'T CARE IF PPL THINK IT'S MEN'S SOAP, I USE IT ♥

I just returned this stinky soap! Why did you destroy the original great scent? This has to be the dumbest corporate move since “new Coke”

Read the room... Look at all the negative reviews. 9 out of 10 hate this soap now. You guys took a brand that many of us have used our entire lives and completely destroyed it. Fire everyone involved with the change, go back to what everyone wants. How can a company be so stupid and tone-deaf.

I loved irish spring soap but noticed the bar getting smaller and smaller. Why is the company charging more and going smaller on the bars of soap? I want my full bar of soap back! Quit ripping off the customers. Give them what they pay for. This is not how you keep customers.

Just bought 2 entire packs of Irish Spring soap thinking I was getting the better deal/price… opened the first box to discover the size of soap has been cut in half and them some!!! The BOX didn’t get smaller JUST THE SOAP! I feel so robbed and ripped off this will be my last purchase of this product. Telling all my friends and family to boycott because this is RIDICULOUS and customers shouldn’t have to pay the consequences and prices of CORPORATE GREED AND STUPIDITY!!! MAYBE DON’T SUPPORT ADMINISTRATIONS WHO DELIBERATELY CRASH THE ECONOMY AND CAUSE PRICES TO GO UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

Bring back the old scent. The new soaps are not anything near the quality of the old ones.

The smell is not the same . Sad . I won’t be throwing it away but I will not but it again. Really disappointed

I’ve used this for years and compared it with others, but it continues to be the best by far.

Guys the company is trying to scam all of us by calling their “original clean” , and labeling it as “original” now… Nothing original about it, smells horrible and melts into nothing in 2-3 showers Save your time and money and get the real deal Dove if you want a moisturizing soap , or get ivory or coast if you want a solid deodorizing soap… This company failed us in February 2022 when they changed the formula for no reason , and came up with this garbage product You would be better off taking a shower with dawn dish soap , at least it smells clean, and not like a toilet bowl

“Original” was allergy safe for my husband. Bulk purchased for decades. “Original” disappeared from the shelves, we bought the “Original Fresh” which he borderline tolerates. Ruined his shower joy. My guess: 2K+ reviewers that liked the new scents never had the opportunity to enjoy real Original in the shower. You messed up.

Smells great. Cleans great. Lasts for a long time.

I've been using Irish Spring bar soap for over 50 years ( 20 years in the military and the rest civilian) and to tell you the truth, I honestly never noticed the formula change. I guess is does lather less but the scent seems the same and I've always like the smell of Irish Spring. I'll tell you why I knocked off 1 star in the rating, the soap bar always seems to break (long ways) when it gets to about 1/8 of the bar. I still will use this soap, been using most my life. I always thought it was made out east in the U.S. by American workers and was very disappointed to see on the box it was made in Mexico, was that always the case?
