Good value, better drug store options

The Pantene Pro-v Sheer Volume Shampoo is a good value for the price compared to salon shampoos. I purchased this after being influenced on Tik Tok by an influencers "hair method." The shampoo is meant to clarify fine and thin hair to remove build up. The product has the typical Pantene scent, and does a good job removing build up, but did not see any impactful difference volume wise. I prefer the Sauve clarifying shampoo for even better value and volume

Leaves my hair oily.

I really wanted to like this. I love the smell, it does smell great and the scent seems to stick around for a while in my hair. but I can’t seem to get around the oily feeling I get not even 12 hours after washing. Maybe it just isn’t a good fit for my fine hair. this is with double shampooing as well. i’ll have to pass next time and try a new one.

New Formula is Awful

I’ve used this shampoo for 18 years, I know it well. The last bottle I bought is horrendous- I have to use twice as much product to get a lather, and it doesn’t rinse out very well. My hair feels heavy when I get out of the shower. Once dry, my hair doesn’t smell clean anymore, it smells like Day 3/4 dirty hair. I used to be able to wash every 2-3 days and my hair would still look great, now I have to wash every day for it to look clean. Every change this product made was designed for you to go through the product faster, thus making you buy more. Pantene cut some big corners in this new formulation - cheaper, lower quality ingredients - and the result is just awful. I won’t be buying it again.

My favorite clarifying shampoo!

This is my favorite clarifying shampoo. I suffer from scalp psoriasis and have build up all over my scalp. This shampoo helps to remove the build up and flakes while not irritating my scalp and causing any itching or addition dryness. I also have fine hair, which makes my scalp get oily fairly quickly. This shampoo is also great at removing the oil from hair without being too drying. The scent is great as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clarifying shampoo for all hair types.

After years of using bougie brands like Kerastase, Bumble & Davines Abbey Yung turned me on to her routine using this product specifically and i'm not exaggerating when I tell you this is better than the bougie brands and so much cheaper. A lot of the issues I had was because my scalp was not getting thoroughly cleaned since those other brands were too gentle. This has made a world of difference in the volume and overall cleanliness of my scalp. Love this stuff

I am a die hard salon quality hair product girl, but wanted to switch up from my Ouai detox shampoo and tbh I’m not sure if I’ll go back to Ouai! This stuff is incredible!! Really gets my scalp clean and fresh and for the price you can’t beat it! I didn’t notice any difference in volume but regardless this stuff will become a repurchase for me!
