I have type 4 natural textured hair and I only use this shampoo to clean my hair because it rinses clean and doesn’t leave any residue from Silicones or parabens or oils. I use a sulfate shampoo biweekly to deep clean my hair and then deep condition. Sulfates are needed to start fresh. They are ok as long as you’re not using them all the time.
