New formula is very bad
Reportedly H&S changed its formula in February 2026. For me, the change was catastrophic. The new formula has inconsistent results, at best leaving hair feeling a little heavy, at worst feeling significantly dirtier than before I washed it. I've tried multiple washes from two different bottles. There is no consistency, which makes me think the new formula is separating in the bottle. Whatever the case, it does not leave hair looking particularly clean, and definitely does not feel clean. I had used H&S for most of my life, so I'm not happy to be writing this, and am struggling to find a suitable replacement. The job of shampoo is to leave hair feeling clean. The new H&S doesn't do that. I won't be using it any longer.

I used it when I was younger, and other family members use it also. I tried it for the sake of Influenster and it makes you feel clean for sure. I just don’t love how much it dries out my hair and the scent is meh. 🫤 but it does as it’s intended!

It helps get rid of oils as well as dandruff in your hair. You don’t have to use too much of it to lather the shampoo on your hair and the packaging is super convenient for travel as well.

Very good cleansing shampoo

It does leave my hair feeling super clean, which sometimes means that it’s not crazy soft but it’s getting all the buildup out of my hair. Best anti-dandruff shampoo for me and my kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go-to anti-dandruff shampoo. It has never failed me! You can use it daily, but usually we use it a couple times a week. For my kids I use it as their normal shampoo and the dandruff stays away. For myself I’ll use it once a week after my normal shampoo but before I condition. The smell is nice and clean, and it has helped me and my kids’ dry scalp SO much! You can see in before and after pictures that it works well and works fast! I will never be without a bottle in my house.
