Selenium Sulfide was recommended by my dermatologist for the dandruff and itchiness, and it works great. I found my hair dry if I use this shampoo too often so I found a solution. I make my hair wet, mix some shampoo with water in a bottle, put on the sclap and use the heeta scalp massager to massage every small area for 3-4min, then wash it. I apply the shampoo-water solution, massage with my fingers (not bail part) then wash it for the 2nd time. The hair is clean longer, less dry and I have less hair loss as well.

I was very annoyed with my hair full of dandruff, itchy scalp, especially every time I wore a black shirt, every time I broke my head or shook the dandruff lightly, the whole white shirt made me lack confidence when I wore a dark shirt, after using Selsun Blue shampoo I found no longer itching and dandruff gradually subsided markedly, using the second bottle I am completely free of dandruff and I still use it to this day, if you are uncomfortable with itching and dandruff here is the solution for you

I usually wash my hair about every 4 days. I just started using this shampoo about a week and a half ago and not only has not improved my dandruff but made it WORSE and my hair has been FALLING OUT like crazy this last week. Reading other comments it seems it is something that has happened to other people. Do not buy!!!

DONT trust Selsun blue. My husband used it and we looked at the ingredients it has so many chemicals and dyes and its horrible for your hair. DONT get Selsun blue unless you want hair loss.

Have a scalp problem but not sure if dandruff. This shampoo keeps my slightly itchy/oily scalp clear & feeling good. I use it every other day. Prefer it over other major brand which doesn’t help at all.

I got this since I tend to have a dry scalp. I started using this and it went away. If I don’t wash my hair for two days it just gets greasy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
