Q: Is this product safe for color treated hair?

Q: Can This product be used for cradle cap removal for a baby
A: Cradle cap isn't exema or psoriasis. So this is too strong for baby's hair. You would be best to rub baby oil in the cradle cap. Let it sit and when softened, gently take baby's comb and lightly run along scalp and the cradle cap will lift off in pieces. You may need to add more baby oil. Caution it doesn't run. And dont use too much as you do need to wash it out. It is a chore to keep up with. But, I survived 3 kids. :) this is the best way
submitted bythey call me Ma - 10 months agoA: This hydrating shampoo helps promote a healthy scalp while adding moisture and softening hair. Great for dry, damaged hair, the oat milk formula leaves hair feeling soft and naturally nourished.

Q: What is the best conditioner to use after this? I have very dry, fine, color-treated hair and my scalp is inflamed.
A: I do a hot oil treatment before I use this on the scalp and ends of my hair. It’s strong enough to still clean the scalp.

Q: How does this compare to tgel? Why did you discontinue tgel?
A: Here’s a quick summary of the T/Sal vs. T/Gel comparison: T/Sal uses 3% salicylic acid to exfoliate and clear scalp buildup. It's gentler, sulfate-free, and works quickly to reduce flakes. Best for mild psoriasis, dry scalp, or sensitive skin. T/Gel (Regular/Extra Strength) contains coal tar (0.5–1%) to slow down skin cell turnover, offering long-lasting relief for chronic dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and scalp psoriasis. It has a strong smell, can be drying, and increases sun sensitivity. It’s discontinued in many regions as of 2025. Bottom line: Use T/Sal for gentler, fast-acting flake control. Use T/Gel (or a coal tar alternative) for tougher, chronic scalp conditions—if you can still find it.
