As someone that likes to change conditioners very often, I absolutely love this one. It leaves my hair smooth, hydrated, and shiny. My scalp is oily, but my ends are dry and breakage-prone. This conditioner does a wonderful job hydrating my ends, and making them smooth. The conditioner isn’t too thick, but also not too thin, it’s the perfect consistency. Definitely recommend!

I use it paired with their shampoo. It is awesome for restoring moisture without weighing hair down. But I don't use it very often bz I'm lazy. The texture is a tad runny, rinse clean. Good for minimalist

My scalp is on the drier side and my hair is prone to dryness so a good conditioner is a must! This conditioner is rich and creamy and effective! It leaves my hair looking clean and fresh and super soft. It’s very moisturizing! It has a nice lather, and a little drop goes a long way. On point with all the Cera Ve products I have used, you know what you are getting - a simple yet effective product.

Lightweight hair and so soft!
The best conditioner I have ever used! I've been on the hunt for a while for one that makes my hair silky soft and lightweight and this is it! No scent which is nice, and doesn't dry out your hair or scalp. Will absolutely be my go to from now on. Can be difficult to find in stores sometimes.

Seb Derm Approved
I have struggled with Seb Derm most of my life. Last year I started using this in combination with an anti-fungal shampoo and it has made a world of difference! I was concerned about the drying effects of my medicated shampoo, but this conditioner honestly does a great job of negating those. Even in the arid desert, I feel like my hair is healthy and soft. It has an easy to spread consistency and I use it after every shampoo wash. I started out only putting it on the ends of my hair, but eventually got brave and put it on my entire head which I prefer. I still don't feel greasy or icky, and it doesn't irritate my scalp or trigger my seb derm which is honestly the ultimate goal.

Simple medium thickness conditioner. Good for fine hair.
I bought this with my own money. This conditioner has a nice medium thickness without feeling too heavy. I have fine hair and this works well with it. I like the sillicones they use. It doesn't leave my hair silky or shiney, but definitely less tangled and more manageable. I like that it's fragrance free.

Contains Chlorahexadine! Made my hair fallout
It’s absolutely awful this product contains Chlorahexadine, a known chemical irritant to those sensitive to chemicals. This conditioner made my hair fallout and my head to develop painful lesions. I have always trusted CeraVe, but adding chemicals like Chlorahexadine to a product used by those with chemical sensitivities defies logic and reason. It is totally unnecessary

WARNING: THIS MAKES YOUR HAIR FALL OUT LIKE CRAZY. I started using thie conditioner and shampoo and have been experiencing clumps of hair in the shower like never before. Only thing I changed in my regime because I thought it would be a good product.

Based on many years of experience and all available technical resources, we have no reason to believe that CeraVe Gentle Scalp Care Conditioner can cause hair loss. Hair loss can be caused by many things: illness, medication, lack of sufficient vitamins, diet, and stress. We also have an increasing loss of hair as we age. Male pattern hair loss and androgenic alopecia is considered to be hereditary. It is estimated the average head has between 90,000 and 140,000 hairs. Normally we lose 40-100 hairs a day. If you have a sudden and unusual amount of hair loss, we suggest you consult your physician because only a medical professional is qualified to diagnose and advise you.

Works best 4 meduim-thick hair
On my fine hair it did not work a little heavy I have curly 2c hair. BUT on my daughters (7yr old) wavy hair she has fine/medium density hair which makes me think this works a lot better on someone with medium to thick hair. It helped ALOT to detangle her hair. I was able to put a good amount and brush with my fingers and it made it a lot easier to brush after. I will continue to repurchase for her. I also notice her hair was less frizzy and looked very nice and shiny.
