I am really loving this gentle hydrating shampoo along with the conditioner. I have natural silver wavy hair that is somewhat dry and this shampoo and conditioner work wonders on my hair. My only wish is that you will come out with a fragrance free leave in conditioner as well. I’m having a hard time finding a fragrance free leave in conditioner so I’m hoping you listen to your customers and come out with one soon with moisture and shine.

Did not receive item in the mail. Called customer service, spoke to three individuals. They could not issue a refund or replacement for the item I did not receive. They claimed that I was lying about the item I paid for but didn’t receive. Terrible online ordering experience, I will not be ordering from target ever again. Poor customer service, poor policies that scam money away from customers.

I have to admit I was a skeptic, I was using a shampoo bar and a conditioning bar that I thought worked great for my hair, but after using these for over a year I noticed a lot of breakage and my hair hurt! Yep, for lack of a better description my hair at my scalp hurt. I saw the ad on FB and decided to give them a try. Please never stop making these products because I am never going back. My scalp feel normal, not hurting, or having red bumps. My hair looks incredible, soft and feels better then it ever did, also styles beautifully! I have wavyish-curlyish hair...there is no frizz! The breakage and shedding have almost stopped and I have only used the product for 2 weeks!! I am so thankful that you created this!

I’m a 41-year-old dude whose hair has apparently decided it’s entering its desert era. Lately, my hair’s been going through some changes (midlife crisis, maybe?), and it’s leaning real dry, especially after washes. I’ve even had to stretch out time between washes just to keep it from feeling like straw. So I picked up the CeraVe Gentle Hydrating Shampoo hoping it would help. Out of the bottle, the shampoo is pretty thick, but it lathers up surprisingly well and rinses out super clean, no residue, no weird film, nothing. which I appreciate because I’m not trying to build a nest on my scalp. But in terms of actual hydration? I honestly couldn’t feel much of a difference compared to a regular shampoo. My hair still felt kind of dry post-wash. If hydration happened, it was playing hide-and-seek. My hair still felt pretty dry after, just… politely clean. To be fair, I haven’t used the matching conditioner yet, so maybe this shampoo is the setup man and the conditioner is the real MVP. Overall, it’s a solid, clean-feeling shampoo that’s easy on the scalp and doesn’t leave buildup, but if you’re expecting a noticeable boost in hydration from the shampoo alone, you might be left underwhelmed. Would I use it again? Sure. Will my hair still judge me for not using conditioner? Absolutely.

I have been dealing with an eczema flare up on my face, and thought a fragrance free shampoo/conditioner could help calm my skin. The first time I used this, I looked in the mirror after bathing and was shocked to see my chest had instantly reacted and broken out. This was the only change in my routine, and it happened on the first use. I have used Cerave face wash and facial lotion without issue. I’m disappointed considering this is specifically marketed for sensitive skin. It made my hair feel clean and soft, but it clearly has something in it that irritates my skin.

I am so incredibly impressed with this shampoo! I don’t remember my hair ever looking and feeling as good as it has since I started using this a few weeks ago. It’s been rainy and damp this spring and my hair shows no frizz! No unwanted curling, just hydrated and fuller! I was outside today for a graduation for hours in the damp cool air and my hair never frizzed! It stayed smooth with manageable volume! I love Cerave products and this hair care line is a home run!! I am a lifer! I bought this with no incentive! Just wanted to try it and soooo glad I did!
