Acne treatment.When using this product
When using this product: skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time.,avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen,avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and mouth,avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached by this product, skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling, or possibly swelling. Irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration.Directions
use every morning and evening. apply a dime-size amount to damp skin and gently massage, avoiding the eye area. rinse well. use wash on entire affected area one to two times daily. because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. if going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a doctor.Other information

Used it for the first time, just because don’t really break out but it made my face red and feel like it’s burning and will never be using again but my bf says it works for him so i guess it just matters on the skin but his skin is more bumpy then mine and has more hair so maybe it works better for boys

Great for teen acne
This has worked so well on my teenage son's face. He does not get too much acne but he started using this because when he did get some it was pretty big. This reduced the size of the active acne and once he started making it a routine we noticed fewer breakouts. It is very affordable and did not cause any irritation on his skin.

This product is wayyyyy too drying. I used it once a week and it had my skin dry,flaky and red for a week. Use with caution. I will be throwing my tube away.

This is my go to face wash! I suffer from hormonal acne and this keeps my face clean and reduces breakouts significantly. I use it in combination with other OTC serums and my breakouts can be kept at bay or at a minimum. On certain days during my cycle I use the 4% BPO in the am and the 10% at night and that helps as well. I’ve tried many prescription and OTC serums for acne and I’ve gotten the best results consistently with this specific cleanser. Love this brand in general though and it’s always recommended by my dermatologist. The bottle also lasts a good amount of time so I think the price is worth it.

At first, this worked great! It helped get rid of all the blemishes, except the blackheads unfortu ately, but even just using this 3x a week dried my face our terribly. I gave it to a family member, though, and it worked great for them

Best Acne Wash!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me say first off that this product works GREAT. I have been nearly totally acne free since using it for over a month. It breaks my heart that I can't buy it again because over the course of the last six weeks I have noticed "bleach" stains on my wash cloths (Both the high quality and cheapos) At first I blamed family for careless laundering but some sleuthing led me to try products in our bathroom and this product is the culprit. Let me assure you I rinse my face of the product before wiping with the wet wash cloth and I rinse the wash cloth afterwards but still end up with stains, big and small, as it seems I can't be thorough enough. The bleached out circle in the upper left of the photo was my test spot, where I dabbed a small amount of the product, An easy, if expensive, solution would be to switch to white linen, but I found it leaves a rather funky yellowish hazy stain that is not nearly as noticeable but would bug me over time. I would be happy to hear that no one else has this problem, it receives a lot of rave reviews, but I feel you should be warned by my experience.

I am a tied and true Panoxyl fan but every once in a while I like to switch it up. I find this to lather better than Panoxyl and it’s slightly more moisturizing. I can’t say that it’ll be a permanent switch given how much I love Panoxyl but I would absolutely recommend giving this a try.

I LOVE this product. I am currently 5 months postpartum and my skin was a DISTASTER for the for 3 months pp. I normally don’t struggle with acne, but I’ll insert pictures. It was really bad. I came across this. I read “maximum strength” and I was like I need this. I pair it with the Resurfacing Retinol Serum and it is just amazing. I’m finally confident again!!!!

I have struggled with acne for so long and been to the dermatologist so many times and they just continued to prescribe expensive and ineffective face wash options. I was recommended to use panoxyl but i didn’t really like the smell or that it stained my towels. I happens to stumble across this face wash and it has truly changed my life. My skin not only has cleared up the majority of the way, but i no longer have as much redness and texture. I couldn’t believe that this actually worked! I am already on my fourth bottle of this product and i absolutely love it. I have recommended it to so many people and have yet to hear anything negative about it.
