This product was just okay. I didn't feel like it helped my psoriasis too much for the price point. I like the Dermarest brand but it is very hard to find. Overall, dried out my hair and my scalp was still pretty itchy.

Works well for eczema on scalp
I don’t have psoriasis, but I do have eczema that flares up on the top of my scalp and around the hairline. My derm suggested an anti-fungal dandruff shampoo, but I like this one better. I use as needed, but at least a couple times a week when the eczema is being impossible. The funny thing is, I would never use salicylic acid or tea tree on eczema flares on the rest of my body, but for some reason it’s fine on the scalp. It’s a great clarifying shampoo as well when I can feel dry skin build-up. One bottle lasts me a long time, so the cost isn’t prohibitive for me. Those of us who have derm issues are all too familiar with spending lots of money on products for relief, so when I find something that works I’m willing to pay for it!

Stained Clothes
Shortly after I began using this shampoo on my daughter, I found that all of her tops were getting permanent black/brown spots all over them. I did some research, and discovered that one of the ingredients, polyquaternium, does stain clothes. After stopping use of this shampoo, the black stains ceased appearing. No matter what I tried, I could not get the stains out, the clothes were permanently discolored. This shampoo ruined the majority of my daughter’s clothes, which I needed to replace. I definitely do NOT recommend it.

I've bought this a couple times and actually really liked it, esp the fact it is shampoo and conditioner combo, so leaving it on my scalp for 5-10 minutes doesn't dry out the lengths of hair like head and shoulders does (iykyk). but I bought a most recent refill and it seems like... super watery?? I ran out of the prior bottle a few weeks before getting a new one so I don't EXACTLY remember the texture from before, but I feel like it was not this at all? There's no way I would've repurchased?? Like, you shake the bottle and it sounds like water inside. Open the top, tip it over, water pours right out. I've dropped quite a bit on my shower floor. I hadn't used nizoral in years as my Dr had me switch specifically to using zinc/sal. acid on and off. target was out of Neutrogena t-sal so I figured I'd try this as it was new. Loved it at first, but will just be going back to the tried and true

It's like a miracle
I have been suffering with itchy and flaky scalp issues for years and I wish I tried this shampoo a long time ago. Recently, my scalp has been extremely flaky. I have tried washing it more often and drying out my scalp asap after showering but it did nothing. I shampooed twice with this shampoo and my flaky scalp hasn’t started flaking. I want to add that I bought their anti-itch formula too so I can avoid scratching. So I recommend buying both products. My flakiness and dandruff has gone down by 95% on first use. I feel so relieved.
