Pantene Pro-V Miracle Rescue Deep Repair Conditioner - 8 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick curly hair and I am not a fan of this conditioner. The only good thing I can say is that it does smell good. Has a coconuty smell. When using it in the shower, it doesn’t give my hair that silky feeling most conditioners give when applying. And after my hair dried, it frizzed it out really bad, took the curls off the top part of my head and made it more wavy and almost straight in some places, and made it knotted up. Even after brushing, it would get knotted back up again.

Did not leave any kind of residue or greasy feel. Made my hair very easy to brush after shower and very soft. I felt like the effects lasted a couple days as well. My hair was smooth up until next shower. Did not notice much in way of repair. I have a lot of flyaways and they remained the same. But did smooth them down. I would buy this product again.

The texture is rich and creamy, and the Melting Pro-V Pearls give it a luxurious feel—almost like a salon-quality treatment at home. After just one use, my hair felt noticeably softer, smoother, and more hydrated, especially at the ends where I usually struggle with dryness. The scent is classic Pantene—fresh, clean, and long-lasting without being overpowering. It rinses out easily and doesn’t leave any residue or weigh my hair down. What stood out the most was how revived and shiny my hair looked. I’ve been using it 2-3 times a week, and I can honestly say it’s made a difference in the overall health and manageability of my hair. For most hair types—especially dry or heat-styled—it’s a winner. Where the product fell short for me was in the packaging. The tube is weak plastic which bends and folds with every squeeze and makes it hard to squeeze or get the product out with wet hands. EWG Healthy Living gives it a rating of 4 out of 10, with 10 being high hazard, on product safety ingredients. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review— Would I repurchase? Absolutely. The product is expensive, but the benefits are undeniable.

I was expecting it to be a sweet, artificial candy smell like most of the affordable hair products, but this has a very pleasant coconut/tropical scent. I definitely recommend leaving it on the full 3 minutes or else it isn’t quite as effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I did receive Pantene Miracle Rescue Deep Repair Conditioner with Melting Beads as a complimentary product, my opinions are honest and my own I have been color treating my hair for years at home and am always on the lookout for products that keep my hair healthy and better protected from hair dye and daily environment exposure. In being open and honest when the product mentioned melting beads I was skeptical over it being a gimmick, but I am probably getting ahead of myself. As always I started my process with a deep cleaning shampoo with deep moisturizer to keep my color treated hair healthy and happy. But for my hair conditioning has ALWAYS been absolutely essential otherwise my fair hair tangles and just feels frizzy and just plain uncomfortable for me. Using the Pantene Miracle Rescue Deep Repair Conditioner you immediately do feel the melt away beads! I have hair to about to my shoulder blades so I use a pretty decent amount, but to allow the Pro-V pearls to dissolve, you simply rub your hands together and then apply to wet hair and then allow to sit for 1-3 minutes and rinse out, style as you normally would. But results are healthy,smooth and radiant hair! It really is what it says, a deep repair conditioner that is a miracle rescue for your hair for an excellent price value! I couldn’t be happier with the results and plan to continue using this product!

My hair did not feel as soft and sleek as when I used Pantene in the past. The smell did not appeal either. It had a dull cocoa butter hint to it, but nothing like other Pantene products.
