    Reformulated

    Old formula was amazing and boasted mostly simple, natural ingredients. New formula is garbage - full of synthetic conditioning agents that leave hair with a film. And to top it all off, the new formula is no longer cruelty free!! This is the second time shea moisture reformulated a perfectly good shampoo for the worst.

    Old recipe is Amazing on Slavic hair

    My boyfriend, who has thin curly hair, recommended me this shampoo. I have straight thin (Slavic) hair and this shampoo does amazing job of making my hair soft, manageable, without weighing it down or making it oily. HOWEVER, I have discovered that the recipe for the new shampoo of this exact kind has done the opposite for my hair, which is really unfortunate because I love the old recipe. One clue is the heart on the bottle. From what I have observed, If the heart is missing - the recipe is new.

    One of my favorite shampoo! This raw shea butter & Madura oil moisturizing shampoo is amazing! Love this smell so much! It foams up well and effectively cleanses the scalp.

    My daughters hair is course and on the dryer side. This is definitely one of the better moisturizing shampoos I've gotten for her to use. Smells great too!

    Break out

    Made scalp break out. Was ok for 2 washes and after that started developing red rashes on my scalp. Not for me.

    This one’s definitely worth trying!

    I’ve been using this shampoo for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for dry or damaged hair.     No pink tax!

    You get 15FL mens shampoo vs the women's shampoo which is 13FL. this is an amazing set doesn't have pink tax! I'm very surprised a woman owned company isn't girl queen friendly. Will be buying more men's shower sets. Less cost, more product, smells amazing and I love the green aesthetic

    Clarifying and moisturizing

    I ordered this and the conditioner because my usual As I Am products have been put of stock everywhere. This conditioner left my hair so incredibly soft and moisturized. I also didn't have to use a lot and I have thick 4b hair, so it will last for a decent amount of time. I loved the scent and it actually stuck around after my hair dried. If you're a woman, don't sleep on this just because it says "men" on it! I have been missing out.

    Works well

    Most shampoos dry out my scalp but this one didn’t. Leaves hair smelling good and feeling soft. This one can be used for men and women since it just smells like she’s butter. I’m not a person of color but I believe it’s suitable for all hair types.

    Hands down best shampoo for men

    I purchased this by accident and it might’ve been the best accident ever. This shampoo left my hair feeling so soft, clean and smelling great. It has everything I look for in a shampoo. The price is beyond great for the quality. Plus like I mentioned this smells so amazing. It’s the first shampoo to ever get me compliments. I recommend pairing this with the conditioner, your hair will definitely feel healthy and soft.

    Still dry scalp

    My boyfriend is a black male and he still had dry scalp. This didn't moisturize his hair because after every use, it felt dry and there were flakes.
