I found this line very drying and left my hair full of frizz. I have type 2B hair, and it’s important to provide a lot of hydration otherwise it becomes frizzy. This product did not do this well, and if anything left my hair drier than before. Also, the smell is odd. There’s too much of a yogurt scent and it makes your hair smell sour.

It really doesn’t matter to me how effective a product is, if the scent is overwhelming. I could smell this all day and it’s such a cloying fragrance, I got a headache. I had to wash my hair again that night in order to sleep and if you’re using this product, you know overwashing is big no-no. I have a very sensitive sense of smell so unfortunately, this product was not for me.

I thought this line would be more moisturizing, but my hair feels very dry and left my scalp itchy. All of the shea moisture shampoos and conditioners leave my hair feeling dry. I’ll be switching back to carols daughter or the mane choice. I have better results with those and they smell better.

I loved the consistency and smell of this shampoo. It made my hair feel super soft which is surprising for a shampoo. I would not pair it with the conditioner though because I didn’t have the same reaction when I used it. Usually products work in tandem with one another, but it was almost as if they were two completely different products. Although I liked the shampoo, I would not purchase this again.

This product is really good for a more natural sulfate-free shampoo. It leaves your hair really soft and does not feel dry or stripped after washing. However, it is really important to use a good clarifying shampoo with this once in a while. Since this shampoo doesn’t strip your hair or anything, it does cause an accumulation of buildup after using it for a while. I started to develop dandruff and an itchy scalp because of it. I started implementing a clarifying shampoo once every couple weeks or so (I only wash my hair about twice a week) and that seems to have helped

I received this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox. It’s paraben free, so it’s better for your hair and it contains Shea butter, which has anti-inflammatory qualities and is known for treating a flaky scalp and this is exactly what my son needed! So I had him wash his hair and waited to get his thoughts. He loved it! He thought his hair felt more cleaner than usual and my more conditioned, more softer. It seemed to have decreased his dandruff flakes some and definitely added more moisture to his hair… I guess a good head of hair starts with a good shampoo!

The surprise of the bonus extra 6.8 ounces for both the cleanser & conditioner is what pushed me to write this review. The bottles stand with a whopping 19.8 fl oz each. I pray it stays this way. Foaming action, moisturizing & strengthening benefits, ability to finger detangle while cleaning are all ace with this shampoo. I try others (also from other brands) and always come back to this. This week I tried SM coco&hibiscus shamp. Let's just say thank goodness I still had a bit of my SM mh&yogurt and reached for it for the 2nd cleanse and immediately returned cocohibiscus and made an order for the mh&yogurt. I was nervous for a long time to try the rinse out conditioner from this line cause cetrimonium chloride (a tangle inducing & drying ingredient) was so high on the list. But when I recently checked back they moved it way down low. looking forward to writing a review once I try the rinse out conditioner.

This one didn’t quite meet the mark for me, as it wasn’t as hydrating as I expected. It felt good in my hair, but after rinsing, it actually felt like my hair had been stripped of the moisture. It lathered well, and did not require a lot of product, but the moisture factor really influenced my overall review on this product.
