It made my hair feel dry and brittle. I had to re-wash it a couple of days later because it felt so terrible. I've tried several of the shea moisture products out of supporting black owned businesses but they don't work for relaxed hair at all.
I used the shampoo after dying my hair. My hair felt very dry and this shampoo brought my hair back to life. The smell was not overpowering and had a good lather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I like the smell of this shampoo we bought it for my daughter who suffers from really bad case of dandruff. It didn't help her with her dandruff problem so I ender up using it. It feels so soft and it leaves your hair feeling soft and smelling great.
This shampoo really is very hydrating. Most shampoos that say they give hydration usually just dry my hair out but this one does not do that at all. It really locks in water and keeps your hair very, very hydrated throughout the day.I love using this one in the summer to just make sure that my curls are really juicy and popping in the heat.
I bought the [product:sheamoisture-manuka-honey-&-mafura-oil-intensive-hydration-shampoo] while out of town. My hair had been feeling dry and brittle from the weather (Snow, hail, below zero). The shampoo/condition combo gave me not only the moisture I needed but I noticed my hair was softer and had more bounce when straightened. The smell is amazing and Ive continued use with it over my previous shampoo. I would definitely recommend.
