A classic contemporary pairing of brushed steel and ivory makes the Duet table lamp a perfect match for a modern or transitionally styled bedroom or living space. Two steel poles each hold a socket that is diffused with an off-white oval shade. The brushed steel finials create the illusion of continuous poles. This lamp would be great if it wasn’t crooked. You can see the pull chains hang straight down, but the bars don’t align with them or with each other. Very cheap looking and not worth the price. Returning.

As you're putting this lamp together, you're thinking, "Is this thing going to be sturdy?" But once assembled it is sturdy enough. Gorgeous; simple lines. I have it in my small Mid-Century living room as a contrast to my other two lamps which have wide colorful ceramic bases. Lampshade is pure white, fyi, with a little bit of linen texture which keeps the lampshade from looking cheap and paper-ish as sometimes happens with pure white lampshades. I love this lamp.

We recently redecorated our living room in mid century modern furniture from Target. We decided to go with this style of lamp and floor lamp. This style really goes well with everything. Love that there are two lightbulbs so I can have bright or brighter.
