Wanted to love it but don't.
I hate this. I’m only giving it two stars because it does get makeup off my brushes. After using it twice, my face was a greasy mess. I checked and all my brushes had an oily residue which transferred to my face.

Disappointed
I wanted to love this because it is alcohol free and better for brushes. I followed directions for use and wiped the brushes after cleaning with a paper towel. After using it twice, I applied my makeup and my face was greasy where the brushes applied product. Not a good look and could cause breakouts. So I’m terribly disappointed and surprised at the great reviews this cleaner has received.

This has been a great daily brush cleaner, I use this regularly in between washes with a brush shampoo to keep my brushes clean. I also saw there might be a larger version to refill which I am definitely interested in.

I think they reformulated, but i really like the package. I clean my brush every day and it definitely feels soft, i just need to spray and done. Instead of cleaning and letting it sit for a day, i can just spray. Def recommend

Oily feeling & smelling
This spray did a decent job of cleaning my brushes. Unfortunately the spray didn’t just hit my brushes. It went everywhere. That is how I learned how oily the spray is. That caused me to wipe each brush many times more than I do when using other brands. Once I did that, each brush dried within 5-10 minutes

Fairly annoyed and a little surprised
I usually have a pleasant experience with ecotools, but this product fully reminds me of WD40. It smells industrial and leaves an oily residue on everything - hands, surfaces - what is it leaving on my brushes? I mean, it works, but... I'll be returning it.

Smells bad, oily
I notice most of the reviews come from a promotion, for what that's worth... I purchased this and it works ok, but why does it smell like a can of wasp spray? Yuck. Also, I didn't realize it's oil based, which isn't likely to agree with my skin. But the smell is enough that I won't be purchasing again, I'll go back to the makeup store brand I was using.

Amazing
This is an amazing product. I normally wash my brushes every other day, and this product has made my life so much easier. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with this gem. It removes all product super fast with dry brushes at the end. What more could I ask for!!!

Left the brushes oily and not for people with oily or mixed skin. Not even sure how this would clean or sanitize a brush. Good idea but did not meet its expectations at all

Oily, Stinky & Disappointing
I have been using the IT cosmetics brush spray cleanser for the longest time for in between washes and it’s amazing but pricey and I was hoping this would be the cheaper alternative but it smells like Goo Gone or bug spray and it definitely leaves a residue on your brushes no matter how much you try to wipe it off and because of the leftover residue it makes your makeup streaky. They really missed the mark on this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for free in exchange for a review normally I use the Cinema Secrets in case I get lazy to wash or get in between. I gave this a try it did get rid of powder and liquid residues but the scent was too much. I use it the next day the scent is still there and oily I just can't brush against my face or i'll get breakouts so washed it. I went back to my cinema secrets, I use the remains to get rid of my foundation and concealer it helps me use less soap to clean my brush. I definitely won't buy it.
