Wow does this thing lather! You just need a little bit of soap to get so much lather. I don’t know if this is the real deal or not, but this thing does what it says - definitely provides a good exfoliation and lather for body washing. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 4/5 stars is because the tag on it that i can use to hang it up on a hook is slowly coming off which I'm disappointed about because it's about to fall off. Is it as nice as the authentic African net sponge, NO but it is a very good budget option. I have been using this daily for just over a month and have not experienced any issue with it “falling apart” as a few others have reported. There is a very small amount of fraying at the edges but this is minimal and has no impact on the usability of the sponge. There is no real stretch to this, so if you are expecting/wanting that, you will likely be disappointed. It’s a solid budget option and would be a good travel option.
