Smells horrible! Something changed in the material/ not as rough as it used to be . Plus it use to have the loop on each end to put hands in.

i have tried the african net and just about every loofa and scrub that is under the sun. this thing beats them all. it is so easy to use, and like the african net, you can boil it in water to clean. or buy another. whatever. be warned though, it is rough. like the softer side of a pumice stone, if that makes sense. definitely don't use on your nether regions.

I opened mine and caught a smell of fish.. I was like no way! I placed it up to my nose and yes, this smells strong like Fish! I was disgusted! I asked my man to smell it and shown him, he smelled it and his face turned sour and he looked at me and told me to throw it away and also kept asking why would someone want that, it's gross. So yeah, I'm never buying this again.

They changed the material it’s made out of, it’s supper soft like a loofah material

I have been using them for years. My husband and kids use them. They are not harsh on your skin. It’s perfect to scrub your back.

Horrible smell upon opening the package

Great for eczema! This thing is pretty scratchy and a bit unpleasant at first, but now I am acclimated and truly see the results of using this. It has helped me reduce my eczema breakouts and keep my skin soft and healthy.

It lathers really good, so you don't have to waste a lot of soap, like with other similar products, like the african net washcloth I bought recently...

I use these while showering, I have sensitive skin and they aren't too rough. The only downside is most of the time when I buy them and take the out of the plastic they literally smell like fish so I'm constantly returning a handful of them. There's gotta be an issue somewhere in the supply chain causing this...

Useless. Rough. Save yourself some money and go to the fabric store. Buy a yard of tulle. Same difference.

I have been using this product for YEARS, would get it at Ulta or Whole Foods before Target started to carry it. I have sensitive skin and I love using this, I don’t feel clean unless I use it. You can visibly see the dirt coming off and it gets my back which I love (regular loofahs are too soft and I don’t feel clean without it) This is similar to a washcloth I used to use that had an exfoliating side but it wasn’t a towel so I couldn’t get a good enough clean. My back acne has now gone away thanks to this towel. I recommend it to everyone I know and even buy this as a stocking stuffer because of how much I love it! If it feels like it’s burning, maybe you’re using too much pressure? My skin is super delicate and I never feel like it’s burning afterwards. Also, noticed some people mention a fishy smell. I haven’t gotten that from this (doesn’t matter which store I buy it from) in all the years I’ve been using it…so I’m not sure what that’s about. I like to replace mine as recommended or every 2 months depending. It doesn’t remain super rough but I loveee how rough it is because nothing else removes all the dirt and grime quite as well and without having to scrub super hard. Everyone has their preferences and I know this brand has some washcloths that might be better suited for those who don’t like the roughness of this exfoliating bath towel.

Extremely rough, even when wet feels like sandpaper on your skin

OK, I was influenced on social media to give this a try and to toss out my loofah. I will be honest it is a little rough and it takes a few washes to get used to, but now that I’m used to it I absolutely will never go back to a loofah ever again plus this is great as it’s hard to get a deep clean on my back, so this comes in handy. It also leaves your skin softer.

Excellent for exfoliation. Not too drying or harsh it's just right. Sad Target is not carrying it most stores anymore. ☹️

It’s made my skin feel super soft!! At first it may feel rough but you then get used it.

This gets the job done so well!! It is pretty rough so if your skin is super sensitive I wouldn’t recommend. This is a once or twice a week type of exfoliating towel. I used this last night and my boyfriend couldn’t stop touching my legs lol. This also creates an amazing lather so scrubbing down your body feels amazing. I also love that it’s pretty big so you can cover a large area. It dries really easily too so it won’t grow bacteria like a loofa. Absolutely obsessed!
