The EcoTools Cleansing Mitt fits onto your hand to help both wash and gently exfoliate your body in the bath or shower for smooth, clean skin. Our exfoliating mitt provides you with a controlled cleanse using your favorite body wash, cleansers, and scrubs. When you’re finished cleansing- just hang to dry using the hanging ribbon. The shower mitt also works great to exfoliate before applying self-tanner or to help remove self-tanner. It’s gentle enough for all skin types- even more sensitive skin. Made of Natural Materials
I read a Prop 65 cancer risk for pthalates on a plastic glove-style exfoliating bath mitt. I sought this ECOtools mitt because it is made of natural fibers. I read that pthalates can be absorbed through the skin, and are an endocrine disruptor. A let-down because I have KP keritosis pilaris, and red bumps, so I liked the glove, but I don't want to absorb the plasticizer chemicals. This mit is not as good, but it's healthier. Cotton wash cloth would be just as good.

Lasts a while
This product lasts along time i’m so used to using a loofah that ends up falling apart. After a few weeks it’s reusable all you have to do is wash it.

Exfoliating queen
This little mitt turned my boring shower into a full-on exfoliation party. My dead skin didn’t know what hit it — one minute I’m a lizard, the next I’m dolphin smooth. It’s like giving yourself a gentle car wash… if the car was you and you’d been parked under a tree for three months. I wanted to love this but it doesn’t exfoliate well and it never fully dries so it always smells. Also when it’s hanging during the day it turns blue… my soap is white so where does the blue come from? Kind of gross and I’m throwing it away.

Remember to check the care instructions.
This only lasted one wash because I didn't understand the tiny care instructions printed on the tag. This is a HAND WASH ONLY item. Putting in the regular wash removed all of its exfoliating texture. It was great for the time it was functional. RIP.

An Infection Waiting to Happen
Like a dope, I bought two of these so I wouldn't be caught short one day, huge mistake. Being as delicate as possible, these things STAIN, and you can wash them by hand, scrubbing, or in the machine, and it doesn't matter. Plus, they never dry, I wring them good, hang them up, and they're just as wet the next day. And it never occurred to me that I would have to switch hands in the middle of my shower, duh, but try and pull that off. If you can linger in a warm bath full of lavender, and you were clean when you got in, and you want to oh so gently exfoliate your legs, knock yourself out. If you want to take care of business, ahem, and get on with your day, don't even think about it. I went back to my shower poufs.
