El Pato produced by Walker Foods, was the first to produce salsa in the United States. Founded by James Walker in 1914 and has remained a family business ever since. El Pato is also the first American salsa to be exported to Mexico. Pure and natural ingredients are the hallmark for Walker Foods.

This review is for packaging and shipping. All the cans arrived dented. As said in previous reviews, just cans in a box. But the worse part was all cans were out of date. I think these are sent by 3rd party. Target should review this vendor. Target did refund my money.

Every can was dented. I threw everything away for fear of contamination. I didn’t know if the cans were dented in shipping or if the cans were damaged prior to shipping.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE NEGLIGENT PACKING FOR SHIPPING, NOT THE PRODUCT These cans were packed with NO bubble wrap or paper wrapping, just thrown in a box. So... do you really expect them to arrive undamaged? so it gets better - they sent me replacements and one out of the two arrived dented again! I was just done with this and decided not to even try to correct it. Shame on you Target for the negligent packing

Love this product. It's great for making quick chilaquiles (ripped up enchiladas) when fresh salsa is not available. This is always in my pantry. It's a staple in my home.

I love this product and was happy to find it. However, the delivery left a lot to be desired. I ordered this and all the cans came severely dented. I don't mind a little ding or dent, but these were smashed to the point where some where almost folded in half. Asked for a replacement and was sent 10 more cans. They also arrived severely damaged...too much to where I did not feel safe using them. Inside the box, there was one piece of a deflated air pillow to protect 10 cans. I've had more "protection" in packages containing on small, non-breakable item...and that was packaging was clearly overkill. However, I will say I was very happy with Target's return/replacement and refund quality.

All four (4) cans were rusted and dented when I received my package. The cans were only secured in a plastic bag that was tied at the top. There were no other forms of insulation inside of the box the cans were stored in. I was really disappointed and disgusted with the quality of the products I received. I had to double check the expiration date on the cans to make sure that I wasn’t shipped expired products.

This is a zesty, snappy and very flavorful Mexican sauce, which I love over my Lentil Tacos, and Bean Tostadas. Makes any Mexican dish exciting, and much more authentic!

We use this tomato sauce in every recipe that involves tomato sauce, either in addition to tomatoes or to add flavor to Italian dishes, or Turkey Soup for the left over turkey from Thanksgiving. Best tomato sauce for Chili Rellenos and Enchiladas. We can find it everywhere in New Mexico (our home) and hope your Target store in Arden, North Carolina (where we have relatives) keeps it in stock forever.

El Pato is a great tomato sauce. It is a little bit spicy making it awesome for Mexican style dishes. I add it to ground meat to make taco meat and use 3 cans in my big chilli. I would definitely try it. Had to order from target because I couldn't find it anywhere in Miami.
