I would give this 5 out of five if the app worked better! I absolutely love my mug and never use anything but it! I highly recommend it!! Lots of connectivity issues with the app. Always have to delete the mug and search again to reconnect

Love this cup
I was given as a gift a few years ago. I absolutely love it. Keeps coffee at same temp. Run to put a wash on?...coffee doesn't cool off....doorbell rings?...coffee doesn't cool off.!! Stays same temp. The temp you love. For coffee drinkers it is a great item.

Good seal
I wanted to wait a while before reviewing The 14 oz lid. So glad I finally purchased this lid, as it works very well. It has a good seal, keeps heat in longer to help coffee stay hot/warm and no leaks so far. Im still waiting for the 10 oz lid for my smaller ember mug to come back into stock.

Expensive but nice
I agree with the other reviews. $15 is a lot to pay for a lid, but the design is excellent in that the slider works great, it's easily removed and reattached, it comes with two spare sliders, and most of all--it is comfortably shaped. I actually like drinking from the Ember mug with the lid on just as well as with the lid off.

This lid effectively doubles the amount of time my coffee stays hot. -Love that! Like others, I have found that at times the lid pops off and I have to fiddle with the gasket to get it stay on. Also, my least favorite thing about this lid is that it gets cloudy. It looks unappealing but it functions perfectly so I guess I'll be fine. Or my coffee will be. Would 5 star this if it weren't for that one point.

Wonderful to keep a drink as hot as I like it.
This was a gift and I LOVE it. I sip my coffee and it always became cold half way through. Now it stays perfectly warm as I sip away. Wonderful

Does not work.
Just received my mug lid with high expectancy. Was very disappointed! The lid just sits on top of the mug and does not ‘seat’. It slides right off when I tip the mug to my mouth to take a drink. I actually have to hold the lid on with a finger and coffee still spills out. I ordered the 10 oz lid for a 10 oz mug. A waste of money.

Perfect Fit
Love my new slider lid because it saves the battery but the best thing is no more spills. I tend to fill my cup a little too full and as I walk with it I would always spill some out. Not anymore with this wonderful lid .

Design Flaw
Lid has a serious design flaw that converts this product into a "Dribble Glass". This lid mimics a cup that is sold in novelty stores as a joke. Hot coffee is dribbled down the user's chin. Totally recommend that this product not be used.

Does not fit
Lid does not fit the mug and when pushed on the mug, it just pops off. Did find a Hydroflax cup that had a lid that fits perfectly!

Lid Leaks
Yes, it traps the heat in so the battery lasts longer but I'm dribbling coffee down myself with every sip because it leaks! I needs a better gasket around the lid!! I think I'd rather have to recharge multiple times instead of having hot coffee dribbling down my chin and cup with every sip. Considering the price, I'd expect to get a lid that doesn't leak! (And yes, I made sure to buy the right size lid!!)

Buy a Yeti lid instead...
Not a fan of this design. While I waited for mine to arrive I started using a Yeti lid. In my opinion the Yeti or even the knock off Yeti lid works better. It fits tighter and the magnetic slide works better.

Lid doesn’t stay in place.
This lid doesn’t actually stay down all the way. It keeps moving up after I press it down, which worries me that it will spill (right now I just hold it down while I drink). I like the concept of it but it just doesn’t fit securely.
