  • A: This book light is exactly what I needed. Yes, it comes with two CR2032 batteries already installed. The back of the package has a diagram that shows how to open the battery case. There are three tiny screws that hold the cover over the battery case. You’ll need a screwdriver that works on TINY screws. The book light clips nicely to a book, tablet, or laptop and is very flexible, so you can adjust as you like.

    It's okay

    It's a decent light, sturdy, flexible and bright. But I don't think the battery even lasted half of the proclaimed 25 hour life before it started to go dim. It started flickering soon after that. Now it's not even usable. And another pack of batteries costs like $4, which is half the price of the light itself, so it's not really worth it when you can get a rechargeable one with multiple settings for like $12.

    I am so happy.

    I’ve used clip-on book lights before, and this Energizer one is definitely one of the better options. It’s lightweight, easy to adjust, and the flexible neck makes it simple to position the light exactly where you need it. The brightness is great for reading without disturbing anyone, and it clips securely onto books or notebooks. Overall, super functional and surprisingly durable.

    The booklight is really disappointing. The on/off switch is so light to the touch that it doesn't stay on properly when in use. spend a bit more and get a better quality book light.

    Died quickly

    This died pretty quickly on me. I even tried replacing the batteries but the light dimmed out super quickly. I bought a nicer one which is rechargeable and has three light settings and like it better.

    The light itself is bright but not harsh.

    I picked up the Energizer LED Book Light, and honestly, it’s become one of my favorite little reading accessories. The clip is sturdy enough to attach to books, e-readers, or even my headboard, and the flexible neck makes it super easy to adjust the angle without blinding myself.

    Battery didnt work upon purchase

    I bought it about 2 months ago and it was not bright was so ever! About a two weeks ago it really started getting worse and I couldn’t see a thing. So why advertise it comes with batteries included when they don’t even work! I thought that’s how bright the light was until I looked at the reviews and realized it was suppose to be wayyy brighter! Had to buy new batteries and it was so hard to unscreen the little screws and on top of that the top battery is loose and it rattles!
